Moorstone is perfect for a short relaxing break or longer holiday. From the front door you enter the hall which leads off too the large front room, open plan kitchen and diner and downstairs shower room. Upstairs you will find 3 large double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over bath. There is direct access to the large enclosed wraparound garden from the kitchen, where you will find a large patio with seating to enjoy the peace and quiet and the sound of the near by river. A perfect base to explore all of Dartmoors wonders including hiking, biking, horseriding, local ale trails, gastronomy and much more that Dartmoor has to offer. We provide a range of walking maps at the property. There is ample parking at the property for up to four vehicles, including undercover parking. There is a bus stop within walking distance of the house which has regular services to Okehampton and Exeter, the nearby town of okehampton also has an hourly train service. We are situated 5 minutes from the A30 which connects to all parts of Devon and Cornwall. Okehampton is a 10 minute drive away and Exeter city and airport 30 minutes drive. The Village of South Zeal has 2 pubs which both offer food, a village shop and cafe which sells local produce. A short walk to Sticklepath where you can find 2 pubs, tea room, shop and post office, museum focusing on Dartmoor life and many historical walks.
