"If you're looking to stay in Tokyo, outside the hustle and bustle of the main area, consider Mimaru Tokyo Ikebukuro. It's a great location on the corner a few blocks away from the main street of restaurants and about 5 blocks away from the Ikebukruo station, with a Family Mart conveniently a block away. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They will get you checked in and to your room immediately. We had a Non Smoking, 4 Twin Beds and 1 Twin Bunk Bed room (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room/kitchenette) and it was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids (8yo, 5yo). Everything was tidy and clean, and you had all the basic essentials you needed in the kitchenette (mugs, cups, plates, utensils, paper towels, soap, sponge). We also had a washer/dryer in the room, which made it convenient to do laundry each day! "

"Close to the station. Breakfast is served until 10am so you can relax. The buffet is very delicious. There are no steps in the bathroom. Quiet. The only view from the window was the building in front of me. It was a bit difficult for a 4-day stay."
