« We had hoped to experience "the real Ireland" and that goal was achieved. This apartment gave us a great central location for visiting the Midlands and East to Dublin. Pat and Una gave us such a warm welcome - we really felt like part of the family. Additionally, we spent some lovely evenings at Weir's Bar and Restaurant for great food, great drink and, best of all, Irish hospitality. »

« We were in Ireland to drop our daughter off at UCD. We wanted a family home to stay in to relax, spend time together and be comfortable. This was the perfect place. We will be back again when we pick her up. It is beautifully decorated, next to adorable villages and we greeted the sheep every morning. Such a lovely home that we are sad to leave. »

« Sehr nette Vermieterin, das Haus ist toll und hat einen hohen Qualitätsstandard.Es liegt etwas abgelegenen und die Abfahrt erfolgt über enge Straßen.Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Das Seeufer ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.Wirklich eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in der Mitte von Irland. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit entsprechender Fahrzeit gut zu erreichen. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 20 Minuten entfernt. »

« Logement idéalement situé à moins de 3 heures de voiture de l'ensemble du territoire irlandais. Il se trouve dans un endroit très calme. Le logement est parfait à tous les égards. Il est très propre, dispose de toutes les commodités et est très agréable à vivre. Et enfin, Margaret est une hôte exceptionnelle, elle est discrète mais très disponible et aux petits soins.Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Merci pour tout, Margaret. »

« Beautiful restored tower. Really enjoyed our two nights there with our puppy. Plenty of garden space for her to run around in. Pub two mins down the road for an evening drink. Only accepts cash, no food, very small, but lovely people in there. Short drive to templemore where all the amenities are. Can’t recommend this place enough to spend some nights :) »

« This was a gathering from the us and we met at Connie wonderful home.From the original house to the horses in the yard we couldn't have been happier. Connie met us at the house and explained all the workings. She anticipated what we would need and had it all there. A welcome basket, activities for the kids and all the hot water and towels we could use. There was ample space for us to gather and to be seperated. Thank you Connie for making our stay so enjoyable. »

« It is a beautiful home.. thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations.. very affordable!Because we are from the states, Would only suggest more detailed info on how to operate the heating & TV.. Host was wonderful/professional & was more than willing to communicate .. »

« Deloris and John were very nice and the place was nice and clean. The king bed (in with the single) could be a little more comfortable. Our hips and backs were pretty sore. »

« I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. I enjoyed interacting with the other guests and the host over...

« We stayed in this property in July 2025 and we really enjoyed it. The house is very private and the view is fantastic!The large kitchen and dining areas made it ideal for us to get our family and friends together. We would stay there again. »

« Very poor directions to get thereNo roadsigns close to the house.No manuals for the various inventory. (Heating/hot water etc)Poor communication with owner, blurred phone numbers.Main electricitybox exposed.Housekeeping outside on the premises :poor. Inside allright, but Cleaning lady had short notice before we arrived and so did only the essentails.On the brights side:In the end everything was working, eventually we even found some food for the cat (!)Very quiet.Good that we met the neighbour...

« The property was large, with many rooms and bes options. Some good, some not so comfortable. The house had plenty of space for a multigenerational family, though it's a drive from Dublin, but close enough to the red Luas line to use the park and ride. The house is in need of a deep clean and some updates. »
