Summary:
You'll love staying in our pet-friendly condo on the world famous Oceanside beach. Hear waves crash and take in the lovely Pacific Ocean breeze while sipping margaritas on your private balcony. If you need a break from the beach, you can walk to world class restaurants, craft breweries, and more. Our full renovation was recently completed and is ready to host you for a trip of a lifetime!

The Space:
Our condo is air conditioned! Don't believe anyone who says you don't need A/C in the summer - the condos along the beach are extremely hot on summer days. This unit is part of a seven unit complex. In order to access the unit, you will need to walk up one flight of stairs.

Guest Access:
Door PIN will be sent just prior to your arrival. Please note it doesn't activate until your scheduled check-in time.

Other Things to Note:
Please be sure to read the "Things to Know" section at the bottom of the listing to ensure our property is a good fit for your stay. Please also note you are welcome to bring one (1) dog. The fee is $35/night/pet. Unauthorized pets will be a $500 fine. Also, keep in mind that the parking area is pretty tight. A large truck won’t fit, so if you do have a large truck, you’ll need to park on the street above (Pacific St). A minivan (since it can make tighter turns) should fit as well sedans and smaller trucks.

It’s the perfect little apartment. Right on the beach & within walking distance to anything you’d need. The kitchen is very well stocked. As well as any toiletries you’d need. Linens are high quality too! It’s a very well thought out place with lots of attention to detail. The host was very easy to communicate with as well. Highly recommend!

Checkout time was very early, 10 AM. I find that much too early for a check out , it should be 11 AM. I will asked for a later check out and was declined. The ocean view was lovely… But it will not be as nice in the future as they are building a building next-door. The room is not soundproof. I could hear people walking around above me and the conversation that the people love me. Location is excellent.

Clean well maintained vacation home. Hop right across the road into the beach. Enjoyed the coffee maker for morning coffee on the balcony looking at the beach. Appreciated the beach chairs for using on the beach. Walk to shops, the pier, restaurants and bars within 15 minutes. Nice to be right on the strip for watching cars cruise by. Easy check in/out. Great communication with the property manager and it was nice he just checked in periodically to make sure things were great.

Such a cool place to stay! Super cute, modern, clean inside and nice touches with the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels! Cozy and comfy and perfect for our family of four! Even closer to the beach than I thought- I could throw a stone in the ocean from the balcony! Pier, restaurants and shopping all walking distance!! Would stay here again!!

There is a house in front of the condo that does somewhat obstruct the view of the beach (see photos). There is new construction to the south of the unit that looks like it will be fairly tall but hard to know what impact that will have. Our host Nick was quick to respond when we had a couple of questions during the stay. The parking area is tight. We had a midsize 4 dr sedan and found when we wanted to leave, pulling forward and back a few times and moving the car more toward the middle of the parking area gave us enough room to back up (also moving the orange cones) and then pull out. Two of the 4 nights we were there we could hear music and voices from the unit next door but not something the host has control over. We walked to dinner without a problem and also visited the Thu market downtown. Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem of a rental. It was clean, it was in a great location, and the property manager was very professional and responsive. One thing to take note is that the parking here is very tight. I would suggest not bringing a large vehicle. The best way to park is to drive backwards through a narrow driveway and then to make a sharp right turn into a parking space. If you struggle with parking in tight places, the parking here may be a challenge.

This unti is honestly better than advertised. Pictures are spot on. Host communication is excellent. All information perfectly communicated. My girlfriend and I stayed for the Bike the Coast event and made a weekend of it! Views are incredible from the living room, laying on the couch, listening to the surf, after a long ride was so relaxing. Everything you want in Oceanside is within walking distance. Pier, Restaurants, Downtown, Harbor... perfect location. Was concerned was going to be noisy on the strand, stayed on Halloween and was super quiet! No noise but the surf! Thanks Hosts!Only thing, not a negative but if traveling to this unit, bring smallest vehicle you can, a full size SUV or Truck would be tricky - have a Tacoma Long bed with a bike rack and parking is tough when adjacent spot is occupied.

Place was perfect for what I was looking for. Right on the beach, and it was a nice beach, Google street view had me worried but the images undersell it. Walkable distance (even for my school-age child) to the pier with lots of restaurants and snack options. Convenient hose to wash feet before going into the place. So nice to have an on-site parking spot.

This is our second time staying here at Harbor House. The condo is nice and has everything that you would need. The view is awesome, just open the patio door and listen to the ocean. It’s right on The Strand which is always bustling with activity and the beach is right there. It has private parking and pet friendly. Nick, the host was always quick to respond to any questions you might have. It’s a great choice for an Oceanside vacation.

We just needed a short getaway from the Las Vegas heat, and this place fit the bill perfectly. Check-in was easy, and the accommodations were as described. Note: If you are a plan-ahead type person, as I am, be patient. Nick will send you detailed check-in instructions two days before your arrival.There is construction going on next door, but only during daytime hours, so it was not much of a distraction.The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking our meals. Tip: There is a Keurig-type coffee pot, which concerned me because I had packed stuff for a regular pot. But then I found that Nick had supplied the Keurig coffee pods in the cupboard, so it worked out just fine.All in all, this was a great place to stay, right on the Strand, and I would certainly recommend it to others.

This condo met our young family’s needs for a 4-day trip. If you have older/bigger kids or 4 adults it might be too cozy. The kitchen was appointed with enough of the basics for us to get by. Parking is tight as they mention, don’t forget to read the visitor guide they send you to find the place! We didn’t notice until the day we left, and it wasn’t mentioned beforehand, but there’s a hose spigot on ground level to wash the beach away. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Oceanside and appreciated the communication and comfort of the accommodations.

Our stay at Harbor House was great from start to finish. Booking easy, communication with Nick and Amy was amazing. They were informative and answered any question I had promptly. The place is very cute with everything we needed. The view was awesome and location can’t be beat. Right across from the ocean and in the heart of activity. A great condo and a great location! Steps to the beach, open the sliding door and listen to the waves. We had a very relaxing stay. If you’re there on a Thursday be sure to check out the market in downtown, lots of great food! Oceanside has it all and this condo is close to everything.

Perfect couples retreat

Had an amazing stay! The place was very clean and comfortable, truly felt like home. The location was perfect — we were able to walk everywhere. Parking was a bit tight, but it wasn’t an issue since we walked most places. The view of the beach was beautiful, and the area was wonderfully quiet. Highly recommend!

Worst vacation rental ever

This location is terrible. Homeless people come out at night. Nonstop traffic and access to the beach is terrible. The unit itself had a terrible dog urine smell that the housekeeper left the window open to hide the odor. We couldn’t even stand being in the place so we had to leave. This place is not worth the price being charged

Amazing location!

Beautiful location and spotless place! We loved our stay here! The parking is really right so only medium- smaller vehicles can fit. The only negative is the curtains let in a lot of light in the morning and the walls are pretty thin so you can hear the neighbours next door and above you. Otherwise it’s an excellent spot to people watch, enjoy the sunset and even swim from!

Great location

Location is ideal. Enjoyed our stay due to the location. Would stay again, except for the parking. Others mentioned the parking, but it's worth emphasizing as it was very challenging. Do not bring a car larger than a compact car, unless you're open to finding other, offsite parking during your stay. Very difficult to fit our mid-size (not large) rental car in the designated spot, which was stressful. Otherwise, nice property, good host communication, and nice stay.
