    Located on the oceanfront in Ocean City, Maryland, the High Point North features a community outdoor pool with a sundeck! This charming, beachfront condo is simply ideal for your next getaway. It offers the convenience of having a private washer/dryer, a well-equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home, air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a prime location that you can't simply find anywhere. Spend great evenings at home, snuggling on the sofa while watching cable TV or planning your next adventures using the free WiFi.

    Things to Know
    Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
    Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
    Highpoint North charges $50 cash or $55 credit card for one parking space. The fee only applies if you are bringing a vehicle.
    All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
    The High Point North Condominium is a smoke-free building! There is a designated area at the south end of the ground floor of the building.
    Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

    Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.



    Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Perfect view and location

Third floor was high enough to have a great view of the beach and easy to access. The lifeguard stand was directly in front of the building and umbrella rentals were available for rent and installation at the beach stand in front of the next building over. Condo had very comfortable beds.

Amazing View

Loved the view of the condo. Condo needs a little TLC with respect to the cleanliness and some of the furniture/layout choices. Beds were comfortable. We had issues with the WiFi, cable, and the locks. There are locks on both the outside door and the door leading to the hallway.

Good location, great views. Outdated apartment.

Pros: Great views. Patio is top notch. Easy access to the ocean. Pool is amazing. Easy access to beach. Bang opposite a shopping mall and liquor store. Fully stocked kitchen, not with food but everything one can need to cook/eat/serve. Washer/dryer is a great addition. Cons: The wifi connection details need to be included in the welcome message. We had to call helpline to connect to the wifi. The apartment has a musky smell, maybe due to mold. Locks are a bit tricky to figure out at first. The bathroom needs some upgrades as well.

Needs a good cleaning

The furniture and rugs were dirty. Rental company sent someone to steam clean everything 2 days later without contacting us that they were coming. Furniture and rugs were wet for a day and a half. The condo needs a good cleaning. I would consider a new company for cleaning. Thought maybe they would reimburse our cleaning fee for the inconvenience. Didn’t hear anything back. They got our money so I’m sure nothing will be done about it. Loved the location.

Good view but lots of downfalls

When I came I wasn’t able to check in with anyone at the desk to register my car. I tried calling customer service and was told to check in. I told them there wasn’t anyone there due to being after 6pm they were closed. Then they told me to park on the street.. there was no parking available on the street. Then I was told if my car wasn’t registered it would be towed if I didn’t but there wasn’t anyone to speak with until the following day. Any time I tried contacting the manager or VRBO owner they never responded. The view of the ocean was good from the balcony. The kitchen was practical. Nothing too exciting but it had what we needed. There is no toaster, just a toaster oven which is out dated. The pillows were stained in the closet. There were 2 air mattresses but both were deflated and had a hole in them. The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable and barely even a mattress.

Pictures do not tell the real story

I will only comment on the issues everything else was okay. The paint on the entry door and the casement needs to be redone it is all dried up chipping away and I was hesitant to enter. Once you enter the first door there's a small room slightly larger than a jail cell I'm not sure if it was that or an escape room very strange and completely useless. Exhaust fan in the bathroom sounds like a jet engine you cannot hear anything going on in that condo while that is running. Also if you run the dryer same issue Extremely Loud can Inot hear anything people talking TV anything. Speaking of TV picture shows very nice TV but the owner did not have it setup for high-definition so it is like watching 1950s TV which also made that completely useless. All of the furniture I mean all of it on the patio is complete garbage. The middle section of the sofa support underneath is completely rusted away and broken I tried to sit on another chair I thought was sturdy and the bottom was broken I almost fell over. No joke there are safety issues out on that patio I've been in construction my whole life I know safety issues when I see them. Also the owner should consider replacing the couch in the main room no matter where you said you are funneling toward the center of the couch hard to sit comfortably sometimes. Owners should also consider buying new pots and pans there is only one really good pan to cook eggs and bacon in a lot of pans are rusted and the ones with Teflon are chiped which are definitely a health hazard.
