« Very outdated and run down »

« hotel facile d'acces sur la route qui traverse Oamaru. Belles chambres et personnel sympathique. Seul point noir, l'isolation phonique entre les chambres. Les 2 chambres que nous avions etaient toutes les deux mitoyennes avec un autre, avec une simple porte, laissant passer beaucoup trop de bruit (et même la lumière). ça ne nous a pas empeché de dormir, mais à savoir »

« Worst booking ever. No, I repeat, no hotel staff....anywhere. The front door to the hotel was unlocked. The restaurant was locked. The bar was locked. Our key was put in the room door. No air con, No bathroom in the room. Small room - about 3 meters square. Just a bed. No table (or room) for even one piece of luggage. Absolutely ridiculous. One public area toilet did not flush. Leave your key on the counter when you go. Expedia, shame on you. This hotel is ok for those who want this type of...

The owner was lovely to communicate with, and even prepared and made up the sofa bed for our fourth person. I would...

« I had a wonderful stay at Pen-y-bryn Lodge. The property is a beautiful historic building with a peaceful atmosphere, and the room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a fantastic experience — I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Oamaru. »

« This was an absolutely delightful place to stay. Spectaculary renovated property with a completely unique, fabulous style. Every comfort considered, breakfasts that were beyond, and pastry chef treats with your evening tea. Katrina and Brenda are warm, gracious hosts who make you feel like welcome friends. We are so happy we were able to enjoy their outstanding hospitality and excellent tips for what to do in the area. A total delight! »

« This is the cutest little house in exactly the part of town you want to be in. Perfect for my two-night stay- and they had great recommendations that made the stay even better »
