This quaint older cozy cottage is the perfect getaway for the traveler looking for relaxation, warm fellowship after a day in Yosemite, or an inviting space close to beautiful Bass Lake. Come and see!!! Just three minutes from the little mountain town of Oakhurst, 15 minutes from beautiful bass lake, and 19 miles from Yosemite national park. Bellas Cottage is a quaint little A-frame with an upstairs master loft, large walk-in shower and soaking tub. There is a king bed upstairs. Downstairs there is a sweet little living room (with a fold down murphy bed)open to a kitchen and dining area. A separate bedroom with a queen bed and nice little bathroom featuring a walk-in shower are also downstairs. The little town of Oakhurst is bustling with activity in the summer and winter. Winter festivals, skiing, ax throwing, a Christmas weekend and tree lighting, Ice-skating at Tenaya Lodge, a local movie theater, are just a few at of the activities. In the spring and fall there are some fun activities including half marathons, hikes, and of course, in the summer, there are all kinds of festivities at the lake along with fireworks over Bass lake on Fourth of July. Bass lake has boat and JetSki rentals.. But most amazing is hiking about Yosemite, and packing picnic lunches to eat near the rivers or waterfalls. There are also all kinds of fun places to eat in Oakhurst. El Cids has great Mexican food… Pizza factory has amazing pizza. There are many other fine dining experiences like Duceys by the lake, the Elderberry House…Upscale burger joints like the SouthGate Brewing, and Duceys upstairs hideaway, also by the Lake.…. Try out our sandwich or coffee shops, and of course you can have a festive meal on the Sugar Pine Railroad. Bellas cottage is frequented by deer, racoon, quail, squirrels, bobcat, an occasional bear, etc. There are two large grocery stores, an auto parts store, a tractor and feed store, many churches and a couple of hardware stores for your shopping covenience.
