Your stylish coastal retreat awaits at Slowin Dune, a 3BR/2BA getaway tucked in the Caswell Dunes community at Oak Island Golf Club. Highlights of this lavish home include a sleek kitchen, two outdoor sitting areas, and well-appointed furnishings throughout.

Tee off in the morning, then spend blissful afternoons at the nearby beach lounging by the sparkling surf. Ride the provided bikes or cruise around in your own golf cart. Get to dining, shopping, and entertainment options in minutes.

LIVING AREA

Unwind into vacation mode on the sleeper sofa, love seat, and armchair in the living area. In the evening, settle in to enjoy favorite shows on the 50' Smart TV with Roku and Wii

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare delicious meals in the sleek kitchen with granite countertops, a farm sink, a full suite of stainless steel appliances, and equipped with gourmet small appliances such as a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, food processor, blender for frozen drinks, Keurig and drip coffemakers and coffee grinder.

When its time to eat, gather around the dining table with seating for up to six.

BED & BATH

This stilted home sleeps up to eight guests between three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

Sleep soundly on a stately king bed in the master suite. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead.

The second bedroom is furnished with a comfy queen bed, while the third guest room features a twin-over-full bunk bed, twin trundle, and a flat-screen TV with cable.

The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead.

An Aerobed is available as an additional bed if desired.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Start the day with fresh coffee and a coastal breeze at the bistro table for two on the front porch.

Relax in the outdoor lounge area, outfitted with two armchairs and a flat-screen TV.

An outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Extra perks include bikes, a golf cart, grill, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer.

Beach chairs/toys/umbrellas, a high chair, and baby/pet gates are provided in the rental.

Parking is available for four cars in the driveway.

This raised single-level home is accessed via a flight of exterior steps.

Please note that the community pool is not available for guest use since this home is not part of the HOA.

Almost perfect

This house was almost perfect. Check in was easy. The door code was not our phone number so it was a bit long. The bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of space, not cluttered great tools in the kitchen. The home was not cleaned well. This is the beginning of the summer season it should have been clean!! We took our own sheets and after the first night we pulled of their sheets that felt like sand paper and noticed the gross sweat stained mattress pad so we washed everything and slept like a dream. The towels are also like sand paper. Just take your own because the home is great! We did rent extra golf carts because the one at the home you can only ride around the neighborhood into the beach. It is not road ready. Overall we had an amazing time. Oak island is now my favorite beach to go to. It’s a small coin town and everyone is super friendly.

Great cozy house with nice amenities

Property was mostly clean - we noticed a few cockroaches outside which is fine/normal for the beach, but found one in the house which wasn't great... Other than this, the house was in great condition, clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The showers were great, outdoor shower and hose was nice, and the golf cart was a great amenity to get to and from the beach access. The AC worked well, and hot water was good, and the living room TV was nice.

Beautiful home in quiet neighborhood, close to beach

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. The golf cart makes a trip to the beach so convenient. We love traveling with our pups and this was a very nice house for our beach getaway. The owner was very nice and we will definitely consider staying here again when we come back to Caswell Beach!

A hidden Gem

The house exceeded our expectations, beautiful, well stocked kitchen, comfortable master and the addition of the golf cart was fantastic for rides to the beach. Great proximity to a lovely dog friendly beach. (At least in the off- season) My only complaint was the robotic and flawed management service Vacasa. Even with that, I would definitely return!

Slowin' Dune was a perfect spot. It's in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach. Having the golf cart was extremely convenient to travel to the beach each day. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again.

Lovely home - all we needed

This property is lovely. It's clean, well-appointed, comfortable, and has all the comforts of home. We loved the ability to use the bikes and golf cart to get back and forth from the beach. Since we had less-than-ideal weather when we traveled, we really enjoyed all the puzzles and games, and the smart TV came in especially handy too. You'd never know this property was pet-friendly. Very much enjoyed our stay.

A perfect 10/10 as my granddaughter would say, 9/10 for beds! The master bedroom bed is broken. We read about it online and expected it to be fixed prior to our stay…sadly it was not. 7 days of poor sleeping!

Stunning home with close proximity to ocean

The house is gorgeous and is such a incredible well built home that has more amenities that you will ever need. As a long time family with parents on Cape Cod, the water is 20 degrees warmer and all people are much friendlier in the neighborhood and on the beach at this Caswelll beach property.

Turn Key provided lots of little amenities (soaps, detergents, etc) and the house and kitchen are very well stocked. Everything was clean. Communication with turn key was simple and fast for the one question we had during our stay.

Beautiful home and location

The home was just as pictured, bright and open. Clearly a very new home with all the amenities one would expect. Everything was spotless when we checked in. We appreciated the high-quality towels and bedding. A great golf cart for taking us and our tons of stuff down to the beach. I initially had issues with internet, but these were easily resolved with a quick phone call. We would definitely stay here again!

Pristine vacation home

We really enjoyed staying here. The property is pristine, extremely clean and exactly as described. The golf cart was a huge perk and made the distance from the beach completely bearable. Two words of caution: the “grill” is more like a George foreman so not exactly the grilling experience one would hope for, and the master bed is not the most comfortable. Communication with the property manager was A+, some of the best we’ve experienced and we have stayed at many VRBOs/Airbnbs

Nice house, but could have been cleaner...

Overall, the house and location are really nice. The neighborhood is a quiet golf community and felt very safe. We loved the golf cart at the house and it was crucial getting to and from the beach (3 minute golf cart ride). The beach itself is fairly quiet, but it did get busy at times. The house layout is really nice and accommodated our 3 adults and 2 children well. *There is no bathtub in the house* (I somehow missed that in the listing pics). The sink in the kitchen is nice and big so if you have a baby, it would work for a bath, but it was too small for our 2 year old. The bathrooms are nicely appointed, there is ample storage in the house, and lots of hangers in the closet. The outdoor shower is one of the nicest we have ever had at a beach house - ample hot water and water pressure, nice handheld shower that was great. That was a definite highlight. However, the house felt dirty. In this current pandemic environment, I expected to walk into a sparkling clean house, but we did not. We had planned to come in and wipe down surfaces for extra precaution, but we ended up feeling like we needed to CLEAN. After finding a dirty spot on the sheets in the master bed, I wasn't convinced the linens had been properly cleaned, so we rewashed all the linens the first night. I had to wipe out the entire fridge because it was so filthy. We found small piles of dog hair on the floor and realized after a quick swipe of a wet paper towel on the floor that the floors were dirty. After all this, we didn't trust the dishes were properly cleaned so we ended up washing them all by hand before we used them, and the oven was unusable (smoked up terribly). I contacted the property manager via text and they did respond apologetically and offered to send someone in the following day, however, we did not feel comfortable with that (again: pandemic) and we had already done all the cleaning ourselves. Confirming our reservation with Turnkey was also a nightmare and took multiple texts and calls to complete. Nothing local about them. Our wifi went out while there, but they did send a "back up" sign-in that was much better than the original, un-secure wifi Turnkey provides. We will avoid Turnkey rentals from now on. This house seems new, so luckily it has that going for it, but I could easily see that if this quality of cleaning is maintained, that it will not stay "new" for long. If I were the owner I would quickly rethink the cleaning/management crew.

Caswell Beach’s hidden gem

The stay was outstanding we are hoping to return very soon. The house was truly amazing all the amenities were accurate and at our disposal. We’d like to thank the owners personally and the property management company for all they did to accommodate us.
