« It was a little offputting to arrive many hours after it had snowed but have nothing shoveled even though management had clearly been there based on footsteps in the snow. There was no way to get inside without getting my feet wet and then there was no way to avoid walking on the nice floors so salt and slush and snow got all over the kitchen floor. « Excellent lakeside view. True peace and quiet. Courteous and friendly owners who respond to messaging extremely fast. 30 minutes from the Canadian border in Lubec with some stunning vistas. We travelled here from NJ for Halloween weekend in late October 2025, and the trees were turning and changing colors all along the drive up, and all throughout Maine. Cozy cabin vibes and an easy to use fireplace with plenty of firewood. Highly recommended. »
