The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"This was a very disappointing stay. First of all it was difficult to find(google maps takes you to an apartment block!) and if looking fir a golf course as in a previous review states, the nearest one is 3miled away! It is on a housing estate and an hours walk from Tours centre. The villa itself is beautiful. However the owner has little English and it is difficult to find him when you need him! We were not given a WiFi code and had to ask about parking and code to get back in at night. The bed...

"This property was a very positive surprise during my trip to France. The experience provided by the couple that run La Pomélie was beyond expectations. The place has clean and comfortable installations, the reception was warm and informative about the surrounding area, and the breakfast was rich, all made by the owners using local ingredients. Table was set in a way that I could fell special and living in the country side of France. The attention to the details was tremendous. Strong recommend....

"Awful. It felt like a homeless person place. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "

"The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue. "
