Casa Cresta Pelada is a large luxury home completed in late 2020. Great beach access with expansive jungle canopy views, occasional Howler Monkeys up at 5 am. The home is in southernmost part of Playa Pelada, bordering the park space between Guiones and Pelada. Five minute walk to the beach at Pelada and sunset dining at La Luna and <15 minute walk with your surfboard to the famous surf in Guiones. Easy access to the hustle and bustle of North Guiones without the traffic. Easy walk to merous restaurants and markets.

The space
Gorgeous newer home with private pool and fenced yard. Large sliding doors open the full back of the house to the pool deck, perfect for entertaining and families. 2 master suites on top floor, each with a four-poster king sized bed and private bathroom with shower and separate large granite soaking tub. Top floor masters also have large balcony with views over the canopy. Main floor is an open plan living area with full kitchen and a large dining table that seats 8-10 for big family meals. Bottom floor has a 4-bed bunk room with private full bath and a lockable apartment with a queen bed and second full kitchen. House includes a washer/dryer and a covered carport with lockable gate for security.

Costa Rica's government strives to be carbon neutral, and as a result, electricity is very very expensive, which means running the AC units is very very expensive. There are independent AC units in every bedroom, and we ask that for the sake of both the environment and our pocketbook that you please turn off the AC units whenever you leave the bedrooms. The AC unit on the main floor, which is very modern and open and has tons of windows and sliding doors, has been disconnected from power because it is very expensive to use and even if run all day at full blast with all windows closed and shades drawn, will cool that area only moderately more than simply leaving the windows open and enjoying the jungle breeze with an occasional dip in the pool. We are happy to connect that main level AC unit on request but must charge an additional $50/day for having that available. Thank you for your understanding and efforts to turn off AC when not in the bedrooms.

With the increased popularity of Nosara and Playa Pelada petty theft from houses and cars is a universal problem in the area—every house has experienced it. We urge you to follow these easy precautions to prevent almost all problems. WE DO PROVIDE A PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD FOR YOUR EVENINGS OUT at no additional charge.

The home is entirely surrounded by a green wall fence, outside security cameras, security lights, and an alarm system, all of which you will be instructed on the use at check in. Collect your iPads, computers, cash, passports, valuables, phones if leaving them behind and lock everything in the safes prior to leaving the home each time.
