Sea Palling has a wonderful sandy beach backed with sand dunes offering walking and letting the dogs run freely. within the village is a shop, fish & chip shop, café, a pub with food served all day, a small amusement arcade, a children’s playground, and a water sports shop, to hire water sports equipment. The beach is popular for sightings of local seal colonies, has a lifeguard (seasonal) and there are boat launching facilities.

Wroxham, capital of the famous Norfolk Broads 12 miles, for boat hire and riverside restaurants and shops. Enjoy a ride on the miniature Bure Valley steam gauge railway visiting the pretty market town of Aylsham. The City of Norwich, 19 miles, for excellent shopping, theatre, cinema complexes, cathedral, and castle museum, as well as plenty of restaurants and cafés to suit all budgets.
