« The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable. »

« Clean comfortable room. There was no extra blanket in the closet although there was a pillow and mattress cover. Very nice older gentleman at check-in. Disappointed there was no complimentary morning coffee that you find at most hotels. Priced affordable. »

« The staff were nice enough. Our room was very clean. But our first night our air conditioner rattled and kept me up all night. The next morning we let them know about it, they had someone come look at it after we left. When we arrived back our room was 78 degrees and they had it set on 67. We told them the air was now quiet but it wasn’t working. The maintenance man came back and he changed out the entire AC unit and we left again. When we got back around 10:30 that night it was still 78 degrees...

« The hotel is decent, but not for the amount of money that they charged. The pool was broken so I couldn’t use it. There is a smell throughout the entire hotel that isn’t pleasant. Most definitely in need of renovation. Breakfast was decent, but very typical »

« Great hotel. We stayed for U of A orientation. Breakfast was the typical spread (waffles, eggs, oatmeal). Everything was clean and staff was very friendly. »

« Hotel is conveniently located and is still quiet. The hotel is well equipped. We did not have as many towels as would normally be in the room, but did not ask for extras as we were only there one night. The room was clean, but I have seen cleaner rooms.... you know..as clean as your house when you have guests, but not "professionally" spotless. Again, we didn't complain and we would gladly stay here again. »

« The shower had no water pressure. Asked to have room cleaned and it wasn’t on the first day there. Towels that we were given one was dirty with something brownish looking and another had a pubic hair on it. If I’m paying to stay in a hotel, with the prices the way they are, I believe that the room should be cleaned daily and fresh towels daily. Nice hotel, but needs to be maintained better. Little run down. »
