« Not enough wine glasses for 8 pax, we bought 4 and left in cupboard to share. Coffee machine does not have the correct basket in coffee holder to brew the coffee. coffee grinds were very hard to get out to make next one which made a hell of a mess. We wasted a lot of the coffee. If you put the correct basket in it will make a nice coffee. »

« Beautiful home getaway, literally moments from the beach exactly how it is….!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were so lucky to find this little piece of paradise there was something for everyone to enjoy which made it even more enjoyable from puzzles, games, cards, books…definitely would return for another holiday, thank you once again Bird family xx »

« Quand nous sommes arrivés après un grand moment d'attente que notre hôte nous reçoive on découvre que notre logement est déjà occupé. Nous avons du rester ferme pour que le problème soit résolu. Notre hôte nous a envoyé chez un autre logeur sympathique, la chambre était modeste mais confortable. »

« Lovely house with lots of room for the 3 families that shared it. Great location to stay and explore the bay of islands! »

« Property is true to the listing!! Pretty, clean, spacious, stocked with linen and kitchen supplies! Walkable to the beach (basically on the beach 1 minute walk down the drive to the water) gorgeous bathrooms, incredible group seating with an outside fire pit and a great covered deck. There is also an incredible winery just 5 minutes away from the VRBO. We are already raving about how wonderful this listing is we are very thankful for the owner’s hospitality. »

« The home is as described and provided everything we needed for your stay. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and the home was very clean and spacious. The host provided Nespresso coffee pods which made for a quick cup of coffee to enjoy on the deck each morning. »

« The house has good potential and a charming layout. The location is close to all ammenities, Some areas, such as the heating system, could use an upgrade to enhance comfort and efficiency. With a few updates and proper care, this house has the potential to be perfect. »

« Lovely place, wonderful surroundings »

« Big homely place with a great view of the Kerikeri inlet from the fantastic deck. Plenty of space inside and out, with a nice path down to a pagoda and jetty, perfect for sunny day fun and loungin. We had a great time staying in this little slice of Rangitane paradise, would love to return someday. »

« This property is exactly as owners and guests described. Perfect for large families. What we were most grateful for was all the quiet nooks and crannies that you can escape to for some quiet time. Wrap around deck amazing! Hope to come back some time! Thanks to the fantastic hosts Brent and Angela..very responsive and just down to earth awesome kiwis!!! »

« Communication excellent. We had a power outage due to cyclone and owner very responsive. Accommodation was perfect for our group. We equipped kitchen and barbecue was a bonus.Comfy beds and bathrooms had everything we needed.Only concern was slippery deck at lower small house. »
