Across the road just a short walk through a walkway to the beach, I enjoyed walking my shi tzu / poodle around the area or even down ROW so much to see. »

« We loved our stay in Rawene, it was exactly as described - a "good old Kiwi batch". No frills and plenty of heart. Really close to Northland must-do trips like visiting Tane Mahuta, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and Paihia/Russell. We enjoyed being so close to the Rawene shops and the beautiful view. « We didn't get what we paid for with this one.The spa pool spewed out brown and white goo when we turned on the jets, which mostly went away by next day after a cleaning cycle, but had put us off by that point. The oven wasn't clean, so smoked out the kitchen a bit.
