« Kay and Wayne are great hosts and are very quick to respond in communicating.The apartment is large and tastefully furnished, very well equipped, and spotlessly clean throughout. There are many lovely features, a spacious kitchen and lots of home comforts. The view, the sound of the waves on the beach and the bird song just add to the wonderful ambiance of this place. We felt right at home. »

« We loved staying in Opua. It is quieter, low-key area, but 7 minutes away, by car, from Paihia. The windows and views are incredible! There is a little fish and chips shop that is really good a couple steps away. One thing of note: The ferry starts ramping up at 5:30 am, and shuts down at 10 p.m. While it is totally entertaining during the day, our friends staying in the second bedroom would hear it, as well as get a spotlight in the window. That said, the place was so good, it still gets a 10...

« We loved our time at this Bach. It is close to the beach and feels quite private. Everything we needed was there. The only negative was the fact that the outside of the batch and the property needed a little TLC. Some paint on the deck and some lawn/garden maintenance would have made this review a full 10 out of 10! Overall we loved our stay and loved the old school quaintness of this Bach. Good value for money and would love to rent again. »

« I was unsure where the apartment was. Had I known it was called "Waterfront" then that would have been easier - Instead I had 2 addresses 98 & 100 Marsden Road. Turned out I could not see those numbers. Anyhow, went to neighbouring property and they said it was Waterfront. Got all parked up, and went to go to lock box when I was meeted & greeted which was really helpful. The apartment was excellent, clean and spacious. Good kitchen, had a sea view. Cannot fault the apartment - It was perfect....

« Amazing hosts and an amazing location, we will definitely be back. Just a note the grass area in the photos now has the pool on it. Wasn't a major for us as kids spent the day in the pool but more an FYI for bookers »
