« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « Room was clean and cozy and warm with its personal fireplace. Offered a tremendous view of the lake and had a personal balcony. Staff was incredibly friendly and the owner could not have been more accommodating. Nothing went unattended or ignored. Best visit I’ve ever had to the area. Highly recommend! »
