« Our stay over July 4th weekend was nice, lovely resort, nice rooms, pretty lobby and grounds. The fireworks show was SPECTACULAR! Very well done! The one area that could use improvement is the pool staff-they were not very attentive at all-most people had to go to the bar to order drinks/food. They do put flags on each set of chairs that you can raise when you need something but those were basically ignored. « Very disappointing stay. The hotel looks nothing like the photos advertised. The pictures are misleading. The property is old, dirty, and poorly maintained. There was a strong unpleasant odor throughout the hotel, especially in the hallways. The hallway carpets were stained, worn, and felt filthy. « When scheduling a stay I requested a room with a handicap shower. I assumed the message was passed onto the location. When I arrived I asked and the person told me that they don’t have handicap shower rooms with two beds. But he was very kind and got me a shower chair. Problem is. I can’t step over the tub to get into the ton/shower combo. But the staff was very nice and accommodating. »
