WATER TAXI & EXCURSIONS

• Water taxi service from the Kaibo dock provides easy access across the North Sound to Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach.

• Once there, guests can enjoy boutique shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and a scenic walk to Seven Mile Beach.

GROCERIES, SUNDAY CLOSURES & PRACTICAL DETAILS

Nearby grocery options such as Foster’s Express and Chisholm's Grocery are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Larger supermarkets are also convenient stops on the drive from the airport.

Supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Cayman, though most restaurants and gas stations remain open, and some gas stations sell liquor on Sundays. Grocery items can also be pre-ordered and delivered before arrival.

Chisholm’s Market is on the Northside, and is open 7 days a week, and is well stocked with food, supplies, beer, wine & liquor. 15 minutes from the condo.

TRANSPORTATION

• A rental car is highly recommended for this area so guests can easily explore Grand Cayman at their own pace.

• Many guests book directly with trusted local providers such as Marshall’s Rent-A-Car, Andy's Rent-A-Car, or compare options through Kayak.

• Due to limited public transportation in Cayman Kai, having a car offers the greatest convenience and flexibility.

Beautiful, Clean, Quiet & Great Beach!!

This condo is exactly as described, and I'd like to add, the rare quiet gem on Cayman. We were the only people using the beach, it was very quiet, and a very short (2 minute) walk to the Kaibo Marina for drinks, food, & easy tour pickup.

The condo is appointed very well. It’s a perfect location on the beach and close to th pool. Kaibo is next door for fresh morning croissants and coffee. The property owners were extremely helpful and responded to questions immediately. Great vacation.

Step out and you are on the beach sand

We have stayed at Kaibo in the past but not in this rental. The rental was very clean and had towels, sheets, cooking pots and utensils for all you could need. Only downside was the noise from the rental above. Even with that because we were all on vacation, we enjoyed our visit and would return to this rental.

We enjoyed our first visit to the Caymans and would absolutely stay at this property again. The property was very clean and the furniture was updated. The condo was equipped with everything that we needed. We loved the location right on the beach, proximity to the pool, and the restaurant a few steps away. The enclosed patio was great and we spent almost every morning there enjoying the views. We preferred this quiet side of the island as it was very peaceful and beautiful.

Relaxing Stay

Property was as described and in a great location. Clean and well maintained. Unit was well equipped but wish they offered a Keurig coffee maker instead of a drip. Thelda was very responsive when we needed anything. The property grounds are in need of new loungers and chairs, but learned that the association was in the process of replacing all of the outdoor furniture. Very convenient to have the yacht club next door and surrounding area was beautiful and quiet. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Overall, we would stay at this condo again and highly recommend!

Quiet and peaceful

Condo has perfect layout for two couples. Exactly as pictured. Great location for peace and quiet. Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, a short stroll down beach, had very friendly staff and the food was consistently good. It was great to be able to walk to Starfish Point! We chartered a private boat that picked us up at the marina which is also a short stroll from the condo. Our favorite restaurant was Tukka and Over the Edge which are a short car ride away. You definitely want to rent a car for exploring! The only suggestion in regards to the condo is to change out the mirrored cabinets in both bathrooms as it blocks the electrical outlet in one bathroom so our friends could not use any hair appliances (flat iron, hairdryer etc) and in the master bathroom it makes turning the sink faucet on and off awkward. Other than that it is a great place to relax and unwind!

Wonderful!

This is our second year returning to Unit 5B. The screened in porch opens to the water and nice comfy lawn chairs await those that want to sit and watch the sun come up every morning. The pool and hot tub are steps away. You can wade or swim in the ocean but need aqua socks for the sharp rocks. The Kaibo club just a few condos away offers live music on Tuesday nights and a wonderful family style dinner. You'll need reservations. We walked daily to Star Fish Point to watch the sunset. The beds are very comfortable, the condo is clean and the kitchen in well stocked with just about everything you need. I brought my own dish towels and dish cloths....those are in short supply and I don't care to use sponges for cleaning dishes. We were only given 3 pods for the dish washer so we did most of our dishes by hand. We loved sitting on the screened in patio at night playing cards. At night the stars are visible and the property was peaceful. We really love staying there. It was hard to leave!

Great location!

The location of this condo was perfect for walking over to Kaibo to eat and for our two tours that left from the Kaibo dock. The property was just like the pictures and it was very clean, however, there was a musty smell to it that never went away throughout our entire stay. It was well equipped with everything we needed, except that it would have been nice to have more than only three beach towels. We did have a washer and dryer so that helped. The hot and cold faucets were mixed up and we couldn't get hot water for our showers our first night, but one call to the manager and we understood how to fix the problem and we were able to get hot water. The porch was a nice place to sit and the ceiling fans throughout were very welcome. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean and we were able to see starfish right in front of our unit at water's edge. We didn't snorkel there, but we saw a few people who did. There were two very friendly ducks who hung out by the units and many little geckos. It was easy to find a parking space for our rental car and having a code to access the unit was convenient. This unit was about an 8 minute walk to Starfish Point, and we visited multiple times and saw starfish, a stingray, and a beautiful sunset.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! As a nurse who has high expectations for cleanliness I was very thankful for a clean condo! The location is perfect, in a safe and friendly area. Lots of people walking in the mornings and throughout the day. We had a rental car to get around the island and highly recommend. Beautiful beach and plenty of chairs and no crowds like you find elsewhere. We saw a ton of starfish right in front of the condo in shallow water on a daily basis, actually more than we found when we walked to starfish point! Our deep sea fishing boat picked us up at the Kaibo pier which is a short walk right out the door, and it was so convenient walking down the beach to the Kaibo restaurant. Easy 4-5 minute drive to Rum Point which has been remodeled and had wonderful food-great open covered seating for casual lunch and also nicer dining for evening time. Red sail sports is right there as well you can walk up and sign up for stingray city/snorkeling etc! Grab groceries at Foster’s near the airport and there is also a small grocery store called Chisolms 10 minutes away from the condo for little things throughout the trip. Over the Edge is a waterfront restaurant about 10 minutes away as well. I could go on and on, we all loved it and can’t wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

FABULOUS !!

We debated between 7-mile beach and Rum Point area but decided to opt for the relaxing, quiet vibe of Kaibo Yacht Club. The Kaibo Kai Hacienda condo is perfect - everything was clean and well maintained. Plenty of beach and bathroom towels and a well stocked kitchen. Also used the charcoal grill 3 nights instead of going to a restaurant.The pool area and hot tub were a great way to spend an evening after a busy day. So glad we went with the "quiet" end of Cayman. We had rented a car at the airport and used it to get around the island. Driving isn't bad, roads are well marked & easy to get around. Ran into very heavy traffic every time we drove over to 7-mile beach area. But the Rum Point/Kaibo area turned out to be a dream. Starfish Point is less than a mile away, coffee at "Espresso" was wonderful and lunch at Kaibo Beach Restaurant had tasty choices with reasonable prices. We booked a wonderful stingray city tour with "Silver Thatch Watersports" that conveniently left from the Kaibo Marina pier. Foster's Express and Christholm's (sp?) markets are a short drive away - not to mention Tukka"s fabulous restaurant. We snorkeled every day at places like Starfish Point and Rum Point. We found everything we were looking for by staying at Kaibo Kai Haciendo and would happily do it all again! Thanks for a perfect vacation!

Beautiful Location

This property is only feet from a calm and beautiful beach. The area in front of the condo is shallow and yet we could easily snorkel and saw amazing fish and starfish right in front of us! The pool is clean, and we enjoyed sitting around it in the afternoons to cool off. The condo was clean when we arrived. We did have a few issues with getting hot water, but they were resolved the next day. The beds were comfortable and we loved sitting on the screened in porch every evening for meals. The condo kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed for cooking meals. Just down the beach is the Kaibo Beach Club which has a coffee shop and a wonderful restaurant within feet of the beach. The sunrises at this location were the best we've ever seen. You can walk 2 blocks and be on Starfish Point to swim and watch amazing sunsets. Driving down the road is a little grocery store with great prices and a really good selection of food. A visitor definitely needs a vehicle to get to this property. It's about an hour drive from the airport and traffic can be congested depending on the hour of day. Since we've been to Cayman Islands before, we knew it was a good idea to stock up on groceries before heading to this more remote location. This location was quiet and peaceful. We loved it so much we reserved it again for next year.

We loved this condo. The host was most communicative from our initial request to book until we checked out. We were surprised, and most appreciative, to receive a refund for one night's stay when we were unable to travel due to weather. The location of the property was great. We stepped out the door of the screened in porch right onto the beach, and the water was just a short distance away. The pool and hot tub were right next door, as was a bar and restaurant. Starfish Point was in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything is perfect, the villa is full of equipment and everything is in excellent condition. The view is something to die for. Having the starfish in front of your villa every day is really cool. The only downs are the AC is already set so you can not lower the numbers and sometimes the villa gets too hot. Though, that doesn’t make us feel disappointed. Another down is the amenities: they only left 1 toilet paper in each bathroom for 10 days/ 9 nights, 1 paper towel roll and 3 trash bags. I sent an email and the next day they provided like 5 more rolls of toilet paper, some trash bags and 1 paper towel, and in the end, I ran out of the paper towel. I requested another one and no one provided any to us. Anyway, those are small issues. Don’t hesitate to rent this villa, itt completely worth it the drive to town. Simply beautiful.
