Close to the beach
This was our 1st time to South Carolina so wasn't sure what to expect.
The property looks like it used to be a motel and some of the rooms were renovated to rent out. The living room and kitchen look exactly like the pictures. The property is way smaller in person, though. I'm 5'9 and my head was maybe 2 inches away from the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom does need some updating. The shower was stained yellow, the toilet has hard water stains and the floors needed to be redone. The rooms are really small but i liked that there were 2. The blinds has some rips and tears, and with being on the first floor, maybe darker curtains would help from anyone being able to see through.
The beds were hard and slightly uncomfortable.
The beach is super close and we walked to it each time. There's a water hose on the porch to use when you come back from the beach. It was a 30 minute drive from the airport but super close to restaurants, Walmart and kroger.
There is a wall unit ac but the temperature was always comfortable in the unit.
Towels are provided but bring your own soap, toothpaste and shampoo.
Overall, we didn't necessarily have any problems with our stay but were surprised at how small it was. If you just need a place to sleep and store your luggage without any extra thrills, it's perfect.
