« This property is exactly as described, it is large and spacious and really nicely furnished. The large outdoor space and pond are really nice views and give a real sense of privacy. We took 2 large dogs as well as 4 adults and 4 kids and we had more than enough room. It is a great property in a good location and we had a really enjoyable stay »

« The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. « Beautiful lodge in a beautiful private peaceful location. Very well equipped and furnished. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating. Blessed with warm sunshine we made the most of the deck, sun loungers and hot tub. Access to the nearby spa at the golf club was a lovely bonus. Owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of safe roads for cycling around the location. Would definitely stay again. »

« Beautiful converted shipping container with a small hot tub, overlooking fields with horses. Also 1 hour's access to the on-site swimming pool, which was a lovely touch. There is another lodge not far away, and people can access the horse field, but it still felt private enough. It is worth mentioning that there is a hairdryer, a fan, shampoo and conditioner, towels and kitchen utensils, and washing up liquid, all provided. « The lodge was lovely the only three things we didn’t like about it was having to light the log burner to have a go in hot tub.There was no door between the bedroom and bathroom so no privacy when on toilet and there was a door into the bedroom from outside that had to have curtains shut otherwise people go past could see you on the toilet And it would have been nice to have a couch in instead of two separate armchairs.It was lovely and clean had a nice view and very quiet. »

" On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were not refilled, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel where better service and cleanliness are expected."
