« The pod is very nice and has good facilities. Good functional kitchen. Shower and toilet ensuite. Comfy bed. Great hot tub which we used every day. Nice surroundings. Well looked after. In the middle of countryside down some country roads so very quiet. Lots of nice sounds of nature. Dog friendly pod has enclosed outdoor area. Didn't interact with staff much when we visited but saw them about and contact details were available and replied to messages. Would recommend for nice relaxing...

« Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. « The lodges are beautiful. We had a pet friendly lodge it was immaculate on arrival and smelt so clean. The location was amazing over looking the golf course and out the way which was perfect for the kids. Location was also perfect, 30 minutes from beautiful York and 50 minutes from Scarborough which are both brilliant for things to do with kids. Will definitely return.The lodges could just do with a brush/hoover so that we can keep the lodge clean on our stay as no one came in to change towels...

" On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were not refilled, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel where better service and cleanliness are expected."
