« Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. There is a fire pit outside and an abundance of nature. The outdoor shower is relaxing too. The beds are so comfy and you have everything you need inside that place. We will be coming back here,...

« If you like rustic camping, this is a BEAUTIFUL spot! The yurts are clean and comfortable - large enough to stand up in & built on sturdy platforms set in a gorgeous little glenn surrounded by trees and large, mossy boulders. The tidy outhouse is conveniently nearby but not too close. There is a standing grill for outdoor cooking and a picnic bench for each tent. The mattress in our tent was quite comfortable. Our review is only 4 stars because the description mentions showers available...

« Check in was a breeze, cabin was very clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed to enjoy days on the trails and warm cozy nights. Was very easy to access trails, and also right off the main drag. Definitely bring warm socks though, the floors can be a tad bit cold. 10/10 will stay here again »

« We anticipated a rustic old cabin, but we did not anticipate health and safety issues or inaccurate amenities in the listing. There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational. We would have been better...

« Owner is very nice. Room was newly renovated and had a nice kitchen. Fun lounge and game room. Easy load in and out. They had Carrabassett Coffee company for the room too and sold toothbrushes in the office! Beds were so-so for comfort but overall a great stay. »

« Literal heaven on earth! The place is quiet and beautiful. The cabin is not too small, or big. Very efficient. Amazing gas fire place inside when it got a little chilly at night. Closed in porch outside without bugs. Small but fully functional kitchen. Great resources of maps and books on the tables to help explore. Fire pit outside was stocked and ready to go. (Although we were too tired to do it) The place was clean and smelled good upon entering. Very welcoming. Highly recommended »

« We stayed stayed there for three nights and skied at saddleback. Easy ride to the mountain, town and the grocery store. It was a cozy cabin with everything you needed. It had a great porch with a nice of view of the lake. Will be coming back. »

« What a wonderful time we had visiting again this year. Each year we choose a different cabin and this year we loved the cozy Birches cabin. The loft was great and what fun we had playing games and hiking on the lake! Can’t wait to visit again next year! »
