Check-In: Access is available anytime after 4 PM, allowing you the flexibility to arrive at your convenience.

Check-Out: Please depart by 10AM. The smart lock makes the process effortless—just close the door behind you, and it will automatically lock.

The home also includes secondary access points for added convenience, such as a side or back door, but the front door remains the primary entry during your stay.

The Beat Retreat is a three-bedroom, two-bath home with a converted garage that serves as a fourth bedroom and music room. Bedroom one features a king bed, bedroom two has another king bed, bedroom three has two full-size beds, and the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom also includes a TV, giving everyone a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring Norman or cheering on the Sooners.

Step into the kitchen and travel back in time to a fun 1950s diner-inspired space, fully equipped for preparing your favorite meals. When it’s time to unwind, head outside to the fully enclosed backyard, soak in the private Jacuzzi, or gather around the fire pit for an evening under the stars. The enclosed yard also makes it convenient for guests traveling with one small dog.

Music lovers will feel right at home here. From guitars and record players to vinyl collections and music memorabilia, the home is designed to inspire creativity and bring a little extra fun to your stay.

Getting around is easy from The Beat Retreat!

Guests can conveniently use their own vehicle, Uber, Lyft, or local public transportation to explore Norman. The home offers easy access to major roads, making trips to the University of Oklahoma, downtown Norman, restaurants, shopping, parks, and nearby attractions simple and convenient.

For a more relaxed stay, rideshare services are a great option when you want to leave the car behind. Whether you’re heading to a Sooners game or exploring the city, getting around is hassle-free.

To finalize your reservation, we kindly ask that you complete a Pre-Arrival Form and review, sign, and agree to our Rental Conditions.

This process helps us ensure that you have all the important details for your stay and that we’re aligned on house rules and expectations.


The Beat Retreat welcomes up to two well-behaved, fully house-trained dogs with prior host approval.

* $50 pet fee for one dog
* $75 total pet fee for two dogs
* Dogs only—sorry, no cats
* Dogs must remain off the beds
* Dogs may not be left loose or unattended inside the home
* Guests must pick up all pet waste from the yard


Please note that the home has a step down into the living room, a step down into the fourth bedroom, and a step up into the primary bathroom. The fourth bedroom is located in the converted garage.
