« it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. »

« The Casselman River Loft was very well decorated, had a great view of the river and was centrally located to the town. The layout of the loft was very well suited for two couples or a family with children. The beds and sofas were extremely comfortable. We were visiting for a wedding and saw some of the other accommodations and ours was far superior. If visiting Confluence, I would highly recommend the Casselman River Loft. »

Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was! "Je n'attendais pas grand chose de cet établissement à part un lieu simple et propre pour faire étape. J'ai découvert une chambre au charme désuet (passons), à la moquette crasseuse et baignée par une forte odeur de renfermé et tabac froid. La climatisation était assourdissante et il a fallu l'éteindre pour fermer l'oeil. Mais le comble fut de découvrir après une mauvaise nuit que j'avais été piquée par des punaises de lit, avec une belle allergie en prime. La médiocrité du petit-déjeuner est-elle pertinente à relever ? Un conseil, passez votre chemin !"
