« This is our fifth stay at the cabin, which I think speaks for itself. We love this property. Hot tub is welcoming, kitchen is equipped for some cooking, and the towel warmers and heated floors in the bathroom are so nice this time of year. Perfect weekend watching bald eagles fly by from the hot tub, watching movies, reading while listening to the rain and venturing into the village. »

« The property really is beautiful, with stunningly large trees all around. The house is nice and just like the photos show it. I did recommend to the property manager that he find a way to raise the beds height and replace the kitchen stools with backed, adjustable height cushioned stools. With those changes, the property would be perfect (for us anyway). It’s a great location; we hiked, snowshoed and skied/snowboarded during our stay. Make a stop at the waterfall (can’t remember the name)....

« The main bed is in the loft and the steep angle of the roof makes getting into bed an adventure as we are over 70. Cabin was ok but a few cobwebs and some dog hair on loft floor. »

« Nick’s place is such a gem - not only is it incredibly clean and well-cared for, but you get to be right on the river. We never get to bring our dogs on vacation because so many places have weight limits on dogs (which is totally fair), so it was a really special treat to get to bring our two big dogs with us. « Amazing property in a secluded feeling area while still being a reasonable drive to downtown Bellingham and a short drive to beautiful Whatcom Falls. The house was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, good cooking supplies, even the toilet paper was high quality! « We had the best time staying at this adorable and comfortable home—it was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend getaway! « The Gnome cabin is very nice. Comfortable couch to relax on, nice kitchen and dining table, large bathroom with a washer and dryer and two good size bedrooms. A large deck and cute yard. The beds are memory foam which some people may find uncomfortable. I would recommend a non- skid pad for the shower floor as the soft water makes it slippery. We would recommend the Gnome cabin for a visit to the island. »
