« basic property but good to use as a base if you have your own transport. Furniture in disrepair and some lights not working throughout the property and no bbq due to previous customers destroying it. However host was easy to contact regarding any issues and prepared to help as best they could. »

« After a strange (as in no prior details emailed to us) solitary check-in we acclimatised quickly to the comfortable, well equipped and clean property. Our misgivings about the curious land around the house were soon dismissed. The wet, windy and stormy weather did not help. But it was winter after all. The long desolate driveway and the old homewares around the nearby garage were a bit disconcerting. All in all we were comfortable and well located to the main town and its off-season services....

« The property is in a great location, easy access, close to amenities and the pub. Chris was helpful to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Couldn't find the platypus in the lake though! »

« Charming, comfortable & peaceful. Beth was a delightful host who made the most delicious g.f. fruit muffins for one coeliac guest. The bed was very comfortable & warm. Our little lounge had a super little heater. Keep an eye out for many of Beth's quirky little objects & lovely art. Lovely garden. Easy walk into Ulverstone with it's marvellous Visitor Centre. »

« Evan was a great host and communication was prompt and clear. The were some beers and wine in the fridge as well and milk and bottled water. All very much appreciated. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. »

« Basic, adequate accommodation. Lots of nice touches. Clean. Having the washer and dryer was great. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling. The heater would only go on 0 or 4, so it was difficult to manage warmth. A bigger bin in the kitchen would be useful. »

« Overall - clean, excellent location in Devonport. Would have liked parking to be included as street parking is paid parking from 8:30am to 6pm and it wasn't cheap. »
