« a lot of love and charm has been put into this property. The lake view is lovely and it’s quiet. The beds are very comfy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. And so many lovely touches and thoughtful ways to welcome guests. We played scrabble and watched movies while listening to records on a stand up record player. Fantastic handout spaces on the decks. »

« Wonderful location near the water! This was a perfect place for a quick overnight stay. The home had everything we needed. »

« We love our stay at the Gem House! Its truly a home away from home! »

« Travel to this location was challenging at night. The house itself is very rustic with steep stairs up to the upstairs bedrooms that could be challenging for seniors. The top of the stairs is a safety issue. The cleaning was adequate. The farm abimals nearby were fun to watch. »

« Quiet spot compared to other motels I've tried nearby. Not much frills but solid basics covered. »
