« This place caters to tour groups and to self sufficient campers but not to the in- between category ie people that travel by car and without camping equipment. You can purchase fancy cocktails there but there is no one to help you change a tyre. There is no hosepipe so you can clean your car when it has a centrmeter’s worth of red dust on it. Staff do not have the answers to anything beyond the confines of the property. Frankly these watering holes on the Gibb are vital but let’s provide some...
« Malgré un cadre idyllique nous n'avons pas pu fermer l'oeil de la nuit : d'abord a cause des vas et viens incessants d'une équipe tv en plein tournage et surtout a cause du froid..... Il doit faire environ 5° la nuit..... Du coup les 229 dollars pour la nuit en tente (de luxe, certes) passent mal »

« La chambre est correcte, le lit confortable. On pouvait se préparer le petit déjeuner mais il n'y avait pas de grandes assiettes. Pourquoi ne pas en mettre deux? Le wi-fi n'est pas disponible dans la chambre, on doit se rendre dans les espaces communs où il fonctionne mal. Il n'est pas possible de prendre un café ou un thé, uniquement des liqueurs douces ou des boissons alcoolisées. L'aménagement n'est pas joli. la musique près de la piscine est trop forte. Nous n'avons pas dû aimé cet endroit....
« Fabulous stay at the Roey - right in the middle of town and close to bus stop for anyone wishing to head to Cable Beach. Staff were well trained and so, so friendly - from the young lady who picked us up at the airport (exceptional) and everyone we came into contact with after that. Restaurant fare was well above our expectations and we ate there every night. Great live music on Sunday afternoon. The bathrooms could do with some updating but overall our rooms were clean and safe.
