« Cons: Wet sheets in the washer. Dishes in the dishwasher. Only 2 towels in the bathroom, when we booked for 4 people. WiFi not strong enough to watch a show, buffered every 3 min. Moldy air conditioning unit in the window in March: Letting in barking dog noise and cool air on a cold day. Very squeaky bed/uneven mattress. Had to check out early due to blizzard / 6-8 inches of snow coming, no option for even a partial refund. Maintenance needed on bath towel rack.Pros: parking spot, location in...

« This is the perfect house to stay in! There are 4 bedrooms, two living rooms, and a large kitchen. My family had plenty of room! Not only is the house large, the outside is large, too. We easily sat 6 of us around the backyard patio table and grilled. What a pleasant weekend! »

« Great place to stay in Prairie du Chien! The place is very clean with comfortable beds! We didnt cook in the unit, but everything you need to do so was available! Including a gas grill on the back deck area. The kitchen had a great coffee maker and a huge fridge. Overall, a very nice place. I would not hesitate to book this house again. The hosts were super attentive if we had any questions. Five out of Five stars! »

« The house is old, but seemed clean enough. The stairs to the 2nd level were very narrow and steep. Annoying if you have small children. The twin bed listed in one room wasn’t an actual bed, but a roll-away bed. »

« The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. I definitely recommend this property for anyone who loves being close to the water. It is nice to be just over the bridge from Dubuque and the location is...
