Upstairs, two balconies offer beautiful views in two directions. From the front balcony, look out over the Saliña, Aruba’s natural saltwater lagoon and wetland. During the dry season, the water can recede dramatically, revealing the salt-covered landscape below.

When I was growing up in Aruba, locals would harvest natural sea salt from the Saliña, a beautiful island tradition we hope to encourage and bring attention to again. It’s a small piece of Aruba’s history right outside your window. Beyond the Saliña, you’ll see Palm Beach’s iconic high-rise hotel area, including the Marriott and Ritz-Carlton.
