Guide de voyage: Nong Khai 2026

Nong Khai : idées de séjour, infos pratiques et culturelles

The mighty Mekong River on the border between Thailand đŸ‡č🇭 and Laos đŸ‡±đŸ‡Š, as seen from the remote but very popular Wat Pha Tak Suea in Nong Khai. I think it’s only popular for the view because the temple, while nice, is nothing special by Thai standards.

Nong Khai
Naga offerings at Kamchanod temple and forest reserve. The forest is reputedly the home of the underground Kingdom of the Phaya Naga. During the festival of Bang Fai Phaya Naga celebrated at the end of Buddhist Lent every year, the nagas breathe fireballs that rise from the bottom of the Mekong River. People come to the Kamchanod temple to leave offerings to the Nagas for blessing in the coming year. #green
