« Ryumontei hotel is a beautiful gem! The room was spacious and clean. The entire ryokan was designed around the gorgeous and huge Japanese garden which made every moment at the ryokan a picturesque moment. A must visit during autumn! The hotel was conveniently located within short distance to nearby tourist attractions such as oriase stream, lake towada and mount hakkoda. Oh and the dinner at the ryokan was out of this world! Sadhimi, crab, beef, fish, abalone... everything was presented...

« This is a small hotel with friendly environment. However, it is a remote area and no shops and much restaurants nearby. There is one the hotel recommended but quite expensive. Take your meal before going to hotel »

« This place was very clean and traditional, and updated at the same time. Property was beautiful. There’s a nice restaurant on property that serves the best Gyoza. We found a sushi restaurant within walking distance and they were great! »

« Une nuit, 3 chambres, en famille avec arrivée tardive après un long trajet en train. Checkin par machine à la réception difficile et peu d’aide des ‘réceptionnistes’ présents derrière leur guichet. Impression désagréable du peu d’hospitalité. Acceptable pour la clientèle salaryman sûrement mais non accueillant pour tout autre clientèle. Petit déjeuner inclus ok. Hôtel pratique près de la gare Shinkansen et bus mais pas en ville. »
