Udo Jingu is just next to the sea and there are interesting rocks near the shrine. If I look closely at the bottom left corner you can see a circle of rope which I was told if you managed to throw the stones (which you can buy from the shrine, 5 for „500) into the circle then your wishes will be granted. #endlesssummer

One of the many shrines of Japan with a most scenic location. It's not difficult to get to except for those with weak legs as there are many steps to climb and if you are able try not to go in the summer! It was scorching hot! Udo-jingĆ« (é”œæˆžç„žćźź) is a Shinto shrine located in Nichinan, Miyazaki prefecture, Japan, south of Aoshima. It is the mythical birthplace of Emperor Jimmu's father Yamasachihiko, dedicated to Ugayafukiaezu, Amaterasu, Amenooshihomimi, Ninigi-no-Mikoto, Hoori and Emperor Jimmu. Nous avons passĂ© 11 jours dans cet appartement qui est trĂšs fonctionnel et surtout trĂšs bien placĂ© pour visiter Tokyo. Station du Tsukuba Ă  express 5 min Ă  pied, temple senso-ji Ă  moins de 10min Ă  pied. Un quartier mĂȘlant trĂšs bien culture, tradition et modernisme.
