La région est un paradis pour les amateurs de plein air avec une variété d'activités tout au long de l'année - promenades pittoresques, pêche, tir, golf, équitation, cyclisme et bien sûr ski. Une variété de châteaux, de jardins et de distilleries à visiter ainsi que des visites du chemin de fer funiculaire de Cairngorm et du parc animalier Highland Wildlife Park font de cette journée une expérience inoubliable. Inverness, le Loch Ness et Fort William sont également facilement accessibles. Boutique, pubs et restaurants à 400 mètres.

If you want a quiet comfortable cabin we can highly recommend Squirrel View The cabin is spotless with everything you need for your stay including a log burner for the chilly evenings, when we arrived there were treats wine and milk left for us which was much appreciated Plenty’s of walking trails in the area where you can see deer and red squirrels The village which is within walking distance has all you need, a supermarket for groceries and the Antlers cafe is a must visitWe would return here in an instant

Squirrel View is a lovely cosy and warm cabin, even with the below freezing temperatures outdoors.

Squirrel View is a lovely cosy and warm cabin, even with the below freezing temperatures outdoors. We didn’t see any squirrels but deer and rooks did visit the garden.It is a good location for access to the Cairngorms with walks from the doorstep.

Fabulous week.

Fabulous week. Squirrel View was just perfect, clean, cosy, well equipped, very comfortable and in a quiet location. Handy to be within walking distance of the local hotel Balavil with a great select of whisky and tasty food. Also not far from the Coop to enjoy dinners in the comfort of the cabin. What a fantastic place to stay, the welcome pack was brilliant didn't expect it but very much appreciated. It is sited in a fantastic place and very quiet apart from the local wildlife some mornings i.e. the sheep eating the grass and the ducks. Also in the garden we're squirrels pheasants and different types of birds. The local village is very nice with all the facilities you need, above the cottage is a local glen where we saw a rushing river and three buzzards. It is located in the right position to see all the local mountains glens lochs. The local osprey centre is fantastic and happy to see an osprey, then to see the raindear. Dolphins at Inverness, salmon at the falls of shin. If I was asked by anyone if it was worth it to stay there I would have no hesitation in saying definitely. To the owners a massive thank you.
