« Quiet with great food, staff and comfortable room »

« Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x »

« Très joli village dans le parc de Dartmoor. Hôtel de charme et très bon restaurant même si le service fût un peu long. À voir à proximité, là promenade à Becky Falls et le spectacle avec mes reptiles. »

« Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy. Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential! Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned »

« Lovely comfortable beds, clean and pleasant room. Dog friendly. The staff are lovely and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Very enjoyable few days. Will definitely be back. »

Carly, the assistant manager with her friendly and professional manner personified everything else The only downside is our room (102) had a noisy neighbour who left their TV on all night »
