We were not provided with an exact address, just the road, and as there was no phone signal, could not contact the host for information on arrival. So we had to drive slowly along the road until we found it. We confirmed availability of, booked, and paid in advance for a late check-out but they unilaterally cancelled at short notice, without offering any mitigation such as somewhere to store our suitcases and hence leaving us nursing bulky suitcases for a couple of hours. We had a few issues with the timing of the heating, the light in bathroom and a bit of uncertainty over parking which we have raised with the host and will hopefully be resolved. Overall these did not spoil our few days here and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Exeter »

Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely. »

« There were 17 of us staying and it was perfect for us all. Plenty of space, comfortable accommodation, fantastic facilities, beautiful views. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. There were a couple of issues with door handles. One fell off all the time and one was impossible to lock. But, apart from that, it was perfect. »
