  • Secluded and perfect for a family getaway to the beauty of Newry, this spacious retreat will be just the ticket for some peace and quiet away from it all. Every guest will find fun activities here, as the lower level of the home is a fully equipped game room with ping-pong, a pool table, a putting practice area, and a wet bar for unlimited entertainment. When everyone builds up an appetite, there will be no need to leave home, as the full kitchen features a high-end gas range, ample prep areas, and stainless steel appliances that will make any recipe a breeze. Not to mention, the living area boasts sweeping mountain views, high vaulted ceilings, plush furnishings, and a large TV, making for the perfect space to host a movie night with the whole gang!

    There will be no lack of fun to be had on this vacation, especially considering Sunday River Ski Resort is just nine miles away offering unlimited ski runs for all experience levels. Grafton Notch State Park is five miles north where you can go hiking, rock climbing, or kayaking. Golf courses are close by to appease the golfers in the group and the town of Bethel is 10 miles away where you can find cinemas, bowling, restaurants, a supermarket, and many other outdoor activities in the area!

This place is out of the way enough to feel very private, but close enough to local activities to make it the perfect balance! Very easy to relax here. Our friends felt at home right away. The deck was our favorite spot to hang out with gorgeous sweeping views of Old Speck & we even saw a scarlet tanager flying around. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall, the house was perfect for our family trip. We loved the ping pong table, pool table. Only thing I would suggest is maybe new paddles and chalk. We arrived in a wind storm with no power but they had a nice generator that powered the whole house.

We had a great stay at this mountain house in Maine. The home was spacious, clean, and warm, with the comfort of having the entire house to ourselves. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, especially in the peaceful setting at the end of a dead-end road. Very quiet, private, and relaxing—we would happily stay here again.

This house was fantastic! We are used to staying slopeside but this house made it worth it to not be slopeside. An Amazing kitchen, living area loved that we could all be together and plenty of room for reverse charades!

Perfect Getaway

If you are looking to enjoy some quality time with friends/family, this place is excellent! We stayed for a weekend bachelor/bachelorette party with 14 people. Beautiful views, near trails (check out the falls near by), plenty of things to do while there, even for those who don’t ski! We played pong, pool, karaoked, enjoyed the hot tub even spent some time near the fire. All in all a great place to book!

This was a fantastic vacation house. We came in July and enjoyed all of the amenities in the home and the very private lot with beautiful views. We highly recommend this home. Clean. Spacious. Outstanding views!

Family vacation
