« The Garden Cottage was everything we could have wished for on our weekend visit. Impeccably clean, stylishly designed, thoughtfully filled with exactly what we needed to feel like a ‘home from home’. Local advice of where to visit and where to eat was spot on and we cannot recommend the cottage enough. Pure perfection! »

« We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. « We had the absolute best stay here! Gorgeous views! Comfortable home with everything you need! They even stocked essential groceries so we didn’t have to rush to the grocery store. It was so nice and peaceful to stay here, cook, and enjoy the beauty of St Andrew’s after a long day on the golf course. Highly recommend and plan to return on day! Thank you for a wonderful visit! »

« We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like? »

« The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

"Maison individuelle très confortable dans le magnifique parc du château. Cuisine très bien équipée, mais pas de produits de base : huile, sel, etc.... Machine à laver le linge. Tennis et piscine couverte et chauffée sur place, très sympa. On a pu faire une ballade à cheval."
