Welcome to a space designed for both productivity and relaxation. This is our personal home where we live half the year, so you’ll find it feels much more "homey" and personal than a standard luxury rental. Whether you’re a remote worker needing a quiet desk or a family looking for a backyard oasis, we’ve set this house up for comfort and real living.
​The Interior:
Living Room: Relax in the main living area with a Roku-powered TV or challenge your friends and family to some of the board games we have here.
​Fully Equipped Kitchen: Since we cook here daily, the kitchen is ready for real meals. It is fully stocked with basic spices, a KitchenAid mixer, toaster, microwave, and a full stove/oven. You’ll have everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal.
​Primary Bedroom: Retreat to a king-sized sanctuary featuring a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, a dresser, and a closet with plenty of hangers. For guests who need to stay productive, the room also includes an adjustable electric standing desk that effortlessly raises or lowers, allowing you to work comfortably whether you prefer sitting or standing. Thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and convenience, this space is the perfect place to unwind, work, and recharge.
​Second Bedroom: Perfect for extra guests or children, this room features a bunk bed with a safe staircase (including built-in storage drawers), a private desk, and its own wall-mounted TV.
The third bedroom offers a comfortable full-size bed, a TV for relaxing after a day of exploring, and a spacious walk-in closet with an incredible shoe storage area for guests who love to unpack and stay organized. A stylish vanity doubles as a desk, making it the perfect space for getting ready or catching up on work.
​The Outside:
​Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened-in sun porch or step through the backdoor to the fully fenced backyard. The patio offers plenty of space to relax, and don't worry—the chicken coop is just for decoration while we are away.

​Modern bathroom with a standing shower; shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer provided.
​All beds are professionally made with fresh, high-quality linens prior to your arrival.
​Things to Note:
​Personal Touch: As this is our primary residence half the year, you may find personal touches throughout that make the space feel lived-in and cozy rather than a sterile hotel.
​Train Tracks: There are tracks two blocks away. Trains are infrequent and generally quiet; I've only heard them blow their horn once or twice since I've lived here, and it was relatively quiet.
​Ambient Noise: The house is two blocks from a small highway. You will hear some ambient road noise when you are outside at night.
​Property Access: No access to outside buildings, including the garage.
