Good Day Sunshine Cottage-Newly updated!! Light and Airy w parking
This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom updated cottage is fully equipped for all of your vacation cottage needs. It is conveniently located central to the Balboa Peninsula just 3 houses away from the the beach and a 60 second walk to the sand. Not only is it a short walk to all of the eateries and local shopping that the Peninsula has to offer, it is next door to a wonderful little park with a playground/ basketball courts. There is virtually no traffic noise, as we are nicely tucked into the coastline.

Bedroom #2 - 1 Bunk bed - full size on bottom & twin on top, flat screen tv
BATHROOM: Bathroom #1 - Full bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and blow dryer!
OUTDOOR LIVING: Private front porch
LIVING ROOM: Flat screen tv, sofa/ chairs, daybed, WiFi throughout the house and patio.
KITCHEN: Includes sink, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave oven, conventional oven, toaster, Keurig, coffee machine, icemaker, plates, cups, and utensils, as well as cookware nicely stocked. Basic home goods and condiments also available for your use.
LAUNDRY: Shared washer/ dryer available to use onsite in a separate room.
LINENS: Linens, towels, and beach towels are provided all year round.
PARKING: Private parking garage onsite - with 1 space available for use.
RECREATIONAL GEAR: Beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards, boogie boards, beach towels, sand toys, are readily available and at your disposable for excursions to the sand, just steps away.

LOCATION: Sunshine Cottage is conveniently located steps to the beach with world-class surfing, volleyball, and boating! The fabulous Lido Village with farm to table dining, first class restaurants and boutique shops all within walking distance! Easy day excursions to Disneyland (20 minutes away), Universal Studios, Legoland, and more! World-class shopping at South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island is 10 minutes drive away. World-class golfing at Pelican Hill is 10 minutes away! A major grocery store is walking distance! A playground just down the street! Fine steak, Italian, sushi bar, and casual restaurants along with a doughnut shop, ice cream, coffee house/bagel shop, fast food, dive shop and grocery store are down the street from the cottage! Newport Pier with 20-plus restaurants is a 6-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk along the oceanfront boardwalk!
Walk or jog along miles of uninterrupted coastline. If you spot a pod of dolphins jump in and have the experience of a lifetime. Experience fantastic sunsets over Catalina Island from the beach. Take a hydrofoil 45-minute boat ride to Catalina Island and be a part of the sunset. Hoag Hospital facilities are two minutes away and Anaheim Convention Center is 20 minutes away.

There is a $65 per day charge for any visitors not listed on the rental agreement and/or exceeding 6 guests to be paid prior to arrival. This is a family-friendly property.
THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. There is no smoking (including vapor cigarettes or cannabis) in the house or anywhere on the property including the garage, behind the garage, front sidewalk, or alley.
NOISE: No loud music or voices between 10 PM and 9 AM.
**This is mandated by the city of Newport Beach.
