Step outside to the expansive front patio, where the true magic of this home unfolds. Take in the ocean views as you gather around the fire pit table, complete with plenty of lounge seating for the whole crew. The grill and an outdoor dining table set the scene for dining alfresco with the salty sea breeze. The home offers three beautifully appointed bedrooms. The primary bedroom and Bedroom 2 each boast a king bed, TV, and a private ensuite bathroom, while a twin-over-full bunk bed and TV await in the third bedroom. An additional full bathroom ensures privacy and convenience for all guests.

Location is everything, and Sandy delivers in spades. Beach access is right across the street, so you can have your toes in the sand within seconds. You’re also just half a mile from Newport Beach’s vibrant shops, trendy eateries, and local attractions, making it easy to explore all the area has to offer.

Surf's up! This coastal city has the largest recreational harbor on the West Coast and is known for its amazing beaches, parks, restaurants, and outdoor shopping centers. The living is easy here and it invites you to ride bikes along the boardwalk and watch pros surf some of the biggest swells in Southern California at The Wedge. Take the ferry to Balboa Island for some of the best seafood in the area and to visit an old-school amusement park with a historic Ferris wheel.

- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

- Sandy is the downstairs unit only, and shares a building with a separate unit upstairs.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Staycation

Location was pleasant and accommodations are set nice. The patio was a hit. The first night was great as there was no one occupying the upper levels. However, the second night the upper level did not adhere to the quiet time regulations. They were very loud until the wee hours of the night. The staff were attentive and helpful in the event that we needed anything or had a question.

Terrible Unit for Families

Do not stay here if you want to relax. We were so excited to check off a bucket list item with three generations of our family and head to this beach house and spend time here on our off days of going to Disneyland. We traveled from the Midwest and were shocked to arrive with no parking options because the rental above took all the spaces. The rental above was also using what was supposed to be our private patio to park bikes, party and lay out. The smell and noise from the HUGE group above was evident immediately, but we tried to make the best of the situation. After two nights of no one sleeping due to late and loud parties we called the property manager. They didn't help. We called again and they promised to help, but didn't. We ended up having to leave and spend a ton of money finding another place we felt safe with our elderly parents and young children. This is not a family spot and the company will not help you. Do not make this mistake and rent this unit. It looks nothing like the pictures, and the unit is for high school kids looking to party near the beach. AvantStay and VRBO made promises to help, but in no way helped. We are out a ton of money because the property is misleading and they don't help fix the problem. I hate to write a review, but I don't want anyone else to suffer and miss out on an experience of a lifetime.

Great beach getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandy beach house! The host was attentive and responsive and the place was exactly as described.The location was amazing - we had a 30 second walk across the street to the beach! The patio was such a nice spot to hang out and relax. The neighborhood was lively but not too noisy.There was a small repair that needed to be done that the host discovered right before we got there. The host managed to get a handyman in and fixed the issue the day we arrived and graciously offered us some compensation without us even asking. They had some great recommendations for local food and entertainment (highly recommend Bear Flag Fish!) and were great about checking in on us without being overbearing!Overall great stat!

Lovely

What a fantastic time at this place from a location standpoint. Check in went smoothly and your right near the beach. My kids were in heaven. There were a few issues that were addressed incredibly timely, and I could not have been more pleased such as the firepit not working and need a new coffee pot. We would definitely stay here again.
