« I was very happy with the property. I shared the place with my adult children for a family wedding. It was wonderful to have some quality, screenfree, engaging time with them. We took full advantage of the games and cards provided. The bedding was sooo comfy that I came home and ordered the same pillows that were there. I would definitely add the fact that the water is “well water” to the listing so people know in advance to bring water. All in all a great experience. »

« Really nice place all around with an amazing view. Hosts have have put thoughtful details in and it shows. We had a minor issue (something we probably should've figured out) and they were happy to help almost immediately after letting them know. Kitchen was stocked with all the cookware, spices, and coffee we needed. Definitely recommend. »

« The cottage was contemporary and cozy, immaculate and extremely well equipped. The kitchen was so well appointed that had we not been gathering elsewhere for family lunches/dinners over the holiday week, I would have really enjoyed cooking/baking in it. The beds were quite comfy and the black out curtains appreciated. « We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. »

« When I arrived to the room it was really warm in there, I figured out how to turn the ac on and it cooled off some but the room remained warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and cozy, the room was very clean. Unfortunately the tv didn’t work and the restaurant staff downstairs were very loud and you could hear everything, at times they were cussing and yelling, made my stay unsatisfactory, the front door had a squeak to it so every time someone came through you heard it. Probably won’t stay...

« Beautiful place tucked back in the woods. Very relaxing and incredibly clean. The free coffee was a nice touch too. Will 100% be returning to The Gunks because of this house. »
