This custom built and professionally decorated lakefront home is ready for friends and family to make lasting memories.
Situated on the eastern end of Norris Lake, Watermark sleeps 12 people among four bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom; expansive living spaces on two levels; covered and sun decks; and a private dock on the main channel.
As you step inside the home, you’ll enter the main level open concept living, dining, and kitchen. The living area features a cathedral, wood ceiling, stone fireplace with antique wood mantel, and comfortable seating. The dining area includes a locally crafted wood table that seats ten for your meals, prepared in the fully equipped cook’s kitchen. Or, you might prefer to grill and dine outside, where you’ll find a table that seats eight and additional seating for relaxing.
The main level includes three of the bedrooms: a king master bedroom/bathroom, a king secondary bedroom/bathroom, and a bedroom with (2) twin extra-long beds/bathroom. You will also have access to an office on this level with a twin-size futon sofa bed, desk, chair, and wall-mounted monitor, if there’s any work that can’t be ignored. The home wi-fi is excellent and allows guests to stream, make wi-fi calls, or browse the web. Log into your own entertainment subscriptions on the app-enabled tvs after a day on the lake.
The lower level of the home is built for fun! Kids and adults alike will be comfortable in the custom bunk room which includes (2) queen beds and (2) twin extra-long beds with a staircase between, making it easy to get to the upper bunks. The bathroom has a double sink and bathtub/shower combination and unique pebble floor. The lower-level living space includes a spacious sectional sofa, a regulation pool table, a custom bar-height table, and a game table. A game night almost seems mandatory!
Private lake access is definitely the main draw to Watermark Lake House, and you will not be disappointed with the location of the home. The land directly across the lake is in a conservation easement, so there is no development to spoil the view. To get out on the water, you can bring your own boat, rent from one of the local marinas, or take out one of our kayaks for a paddle. Norris Lake is one of the best lakes in Tennessee for fishing, so don’t forget your freshwater fishing gear. Stop into one of the marinas for a casual bite to eat and catch some live music on the weekends.
If you care to venture away from the lake, Woodlake Golf & Lodge features an 18-hole course with full pro shop and reasonable rates, only 15 minutes from the house. Cumberland Gap National Historic Park gives a smaller “Smoky Mountains” feel with hiking trails and is 30 minutes away. Knoxville is a fun small city with many activities and eateries and only an hour away (go VOLS!).
