Important Information Regarding Beach Restoration
Thank you for considering a stay with us.
Beach restoration is currently underway in our area. This necessary project is designed to improve our coastline, but it brings some temporary changes to our beach experience.
What to Expect:
You may see, hear, and feel vibrations from heavy machinery (bulldozers, pipes) on the beach, especially during business hours. We believe in transparency and want to ensure you have all the information to decide if this is the right time for your visit. While the work is intended to be completed behind our complex by April 15th, there still may be work being done south of us. As a result, last minute bookings are discounted during this time and reflected in the rate shown.
This beautiful third floor corner 3 spacious end unit complete with stainless steel kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, and a 65 inch Smart TV in the living room is the perfect fit for families and couples alike. King bed in the master bedroom, queen in the middle bedroom and 2 full size bunk beds with single trundles in the 3rd bedroom will comfortably sleep up to 10 total in the unit.

Unit Supplies: There will be a starter supply of toilet paper and hand soap when you arrive but you may need to purchase paper and cleaning products (paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.) as needed. Beach towels and beach chairs are provided at the owner's discretion but we recommend bringing extra.

Turkey and waves.

We had a great Thanksgiving week at Hacienda Del Sol 2. Beach access was slightly problematic but everything else was fantastic. We even cooked a full turkey dinner in the more than adequate kitchen. The sounds of the surf put us to sleep every night.

This is a nice property. Not luxury but nice. The beds aren’t great. Plenty of seating and nicely appointed kitchen. It is always nice to find the stash of toys and chairs available to use. I would stay here again. I don’t like not communicating through VRBO when I book through them.

The property was clean, quiet, and perfect for what we needed. Cait was so great! She responded to email quickly. Our son left his stuffed animal behind and she gave detailed instructions to us so she could send it back to us.

Relaxing Trip

We enjoyed our trip. The property was nice, the area was great with multiple wonderful places to eat, and we received quick communication as needed. I do feel the unit could have been cleaned better before we arrived…several small things, but not a big enough deal to make a complaint. New Smyrna is a great, quiet town to sit back, relax, and enjoy time away from home.

Nice Stay

Overall, I thought the property was nice. Great location, nice amenities, quiet and family friendly. My only complaint was the door handle to the front screen door was broke and kept falling off our locking people out. For the money that's being charged to rent this place that seems like a really easy fix renters shouldn't have to hassle with.

Not impressed

The area and amenities are very good. However, the unit is in desperate need of a good and thorough cleaning. When I complained, the property manager did respond and have someone come out to touch on areas of concern. But really needs a lot more.

Great corner beach condo

It's hard to find good three bedroom condo but this one is awesome. The bunk room beds are full size bunks which is great for bigger kids or adults. Place was clean and exactly as described. Great kitchen dining living room area and everything spills out onto the ocean front balcony. Even the second and third bedrooms have ocean views. All the facilities of the condo building were in great shape and super clean. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful beach, OK condo

Condo is oceanfront and nice view from balcony. Nice pool, beach…even enjoyed shuffleboard. Condo was poorly cleaned prior to our stay. Floor dirty- if walked barefoot for 5 minutes had black feet. Kitchen garbage can had liquid coffee in bottom but no bag. I washed it on arrival. Main bedroom king bed was missing a top sheet. Probably hard to keep good cleaning staff post COVID.

Great beach getaway!

We’ve stayed at many condos in New Smyrna over the last 5 years, but this one is by far my favorite! All the furniture and decor are updated/modern and we had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach. The pool was great, and you can’t beat the view from the balcony! My mother-in-law wasn’t able to go on the beach, but she was able to see my kids play on the beach from the balcony of the condo. It was perfect for what she needed. Would definitely stay here again!

The unit could use a better cleaning

The unit was wonderful. We love how bright and open it is. I would just have the cleaning service do a better job. The pantry cabinets were dirty and so were the tile floors. Walking around the property from our unit to the outside was very tidy and clean. But overall, we had a great time and would rent the unit again

Not perfect to start

Our condo unit wasn’t cleaned very well. My wife noticed a strange smell coming from master bedroom and after 3 nights sleeping notice the mattress smelled like vomit. My nite clothing also smelled the same. We called the manager who sent over the cleaning company and confirmed that the mattress topper had a sour smelled which was probably vomit. They changed out the mattress pad and applied new sheets. Needless to say we still found the stay uncomfortable knowing we slept on this for 3 nights. We weren’t very happy with who actually cleaned the unit before arriving. To not notice this smell was unacceptable.

Perfect location.

Our ocean front view was perfect. We could see and hear the ocean from all areas in this condo, and we had immediate access to our daily walks on the beach. The location is very near shopping and restaurants. Our unit was perfect for our group of eight. We will definitely consider this unit on our next trip to New Smyrna.

What a great place!! The condo had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could possible need. plenty of dishes and glassware. The view was spectacular. easy access to the beach and the pool was fantastic. The condo is a definite for future girls weekends!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Centrally located to places to visit (Daytona, KSC, Orlando) but right on the beach. I liked having access to the party room when extra dining space was needed. Shuffleboard was thoroughly enjoyed as well. Cleaning lady was most friendly, too. I would suggest on your vrbo listing you clarify/confirm there are 2 bathrooms (not 1) so as to avoid confusion.

Perfect oceanfront condo

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful, spacious condo. The layout is wonderful and the condo comfortably accommodates large groups. The third bedroom can easily sleep 8 people in the two double-bed bunks, and there are two trundle beds in the room, too! Our family of six had plenty of room. I also appreciated the clean design, as it wasn't cluttered with lots of knick-knacks, as some condos can be. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. We especially liked the wide balcony with a beautiful view. Hacienda del Sol II is kept very clean, and the pool area is especially nice. We've stayed in New Smyrna condos at least 8 times over the past 10 years, and this may be my favorite. We had a great time and hope to stay in this particular condo again!

Very Nice

Very nice and comfortable. Beds are great with ample bedding and towels. Stove needs to be fixed as not all burners work. The refrigerator needs to be much larger for a unit that accommodates 9-10. Overall, it is quite wonderful.

Outstanding! Unit 317 at Hacienda del Sol II is now our new family favorite in New Smyrna Beach!

Incredible beach views from the balcony, bedroom and living room. Watched the sunrise over the ocean from our bed! The keyless entry, the 65 inch TV and other amenities were really nice. I would highly recommend this unit at Hacienda del Sol II to anyone! We are already booked again for next year. The onsite manager Cate is awesome!
