Located on 60 private acres of beautiful Hill Country, Lyjendajay is a Heavenly escape! This rustic cabin with a welcoming turquoise door is named after the family's five grandchildren and has been a retreat for several generations. Lyjendajay, located in the hills of Wimberley is a charming cabin that sleeps six and offers all the modern touches one needs for an enjoyable getaway. Enjoy days spent exploring endless wide open spaces and evenings relaxing in the tranquil hot tub under the twinkling stars.

Upon entering, guests are greeted with an attractive combination of modern ranch style furnishings. The home features a wood burning fireplace, a stacked rock wall surround, tile flooring, an oversize wagon wheel, as well as other unique accents. With an open floor concept, guests will be able to prepare family favorites while still enjoying the activities in the family space. The kitchen offers plenty of counter space, bar seating for five, a large refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. All the conveniences needed to make your stay enjoyable. For additional seating, there is a charming dining table that seats six. Unwind in the roomy living room space with a wood burning fireplace, large screen television, and plenty of comfortable seating. Guests will sleep soundly in one of the two roomy bedrooms. The master offers a king bed with comfortable linens, small vanity, and plenty of space for belongings, the second room is the perfect space for kids. This bunk room offers 2 twin beds and a trundle day bed and sleeps four comfortably. With one and a half bathrooms, there is plenty of room to tidy up. Admire the unique whiskey barrel vanity and colorful wallpaper specially designed for the owners. The second œ bath located off the kitchen and laundry area offers just enough space for a quick freshen up.

With 60 private acres, guests can spend endless hours exploring the area. Enjoy the fabulous outdoor space with beautiful Hill Country views, a soothing hot tub, and multiple gathering areas. Lyjendajay offers guests plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained including a fenced in yard for your furry friend and plenty of space to run and play! Grill favorites on the charcoal grill, gather for meals at one of the outdoor dining areas, play a game of corn hole, relax on the comfortable outdoor furniture with a favorite beverage, the perfect escape from the business of every day. Spend a magical evening under the stars unwinding in the luxurious hot tub. For added entertainment cozy up around the fire pit and enjoy s'mores and stories with family and friends.

Lyjendajay, a hill country getaway, offers an abundance of fun for the family, friends, and furry ones! With 60 acres of wide open spaces, a private hot tub, and endless exploring opportunities, everyone is sure to have a fantastic time!

With Wimberley only a few minutes away, enjoy shopping in the downtown square of Wimberley or swimming, and hiking at the famous Jacobs Well, Zip Line Adventure, or Blue Hole Regional Park offers swimming and nature trails. Visit the delicious restaurants as well as the charming shops in the square. Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon. Overlook Park offers fabulous views of Canyon Lake as well as the Dam. Rent a pontoon boat or jet ski on Canyon Lake. Take a day trip to Gruene, home to the historic Gruene Hall, enjoy music and dancing, or dine at the delicious Gristmill Restaurant. New Braunfels offers lots of fun. Float the beautiful Guadalupe River, rent paddle boats or picnic at Landa Park, swim at the Spring Fed Pool, or spend the day at Schlitterbahn Water Park. Plan a visit to one of the local wineries or breweries for wine or beer tasting.

In general the property was nice and our stay was good. Pros:-seclusion, quietness and privacy-hot tub and spacious deckCons:-needs better cleaning (dirt here and there, especially in the living room, you have a feeling everything was covered in dust)-need improvements on the house (one part of a roof was loosen and it was that type of metal roof plate, and becaue it was windy it was banging against the roof frame all the times, quite annoying especially during nighttime, not to say it can be dangerous; deck needs repairs, the boards are deteriorating and aren't even anymore)-lawn wasn't taken care of, so it was quite tall-weird behavior of the owner/management company: they kept calling/messaging frequently about sending the insurance agents on the property to check the house, during our stay, or sending a landscape company to make evaluation on the lawn, during our stay .Weird. Overall we had a good time staying there, but the property needs upgrades. 4 out of 5.

Absolutely Incredible Stay!

From the moment we stepped out of the car, we were greeted with peaceful silence—exactly what we were looking for. The location strikes the perfect balance: close enough to everything we needed, yet far enough to escape light and noise pollution. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch or soaking in the hot tub was the ultimate way to begin and end each day. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Perfect, Peaceful Getaway

My husband and I stayed here on an impromptu trip from OH to TX. And I’m so happy this is the property we chose. We were far enough away from downtown that we had peaceful, quiet evenings; but close enough to downtown Wimberley that we could venture out for shopping, groceries, and dinner when we needed. We loved having a leisurely start to the day with coffee on the deck, and then quiet nights spent on the same deck having a cocktail and watching the sunset. This was exactly what we needed to relax and reset.

A perfect escape for my wife's 40th

The property was exactly as depicted in the description and photos. If you're looking for something that is nice but not luxury, slightly remote but still 10 minutes to downtown Wimberley, and cozy without being small-this is your place. It was close enough to town to make a coffee run and grab breakfast tacos in the morning and almost wish the ride back with the windows down down the back roads was a little longer. But at the same time, when you're on property, it feels like no one is around for miles. The hot tub is very comfortable and was perfect for staring up at the stars or listening to some music with drinks. The main bed was comfortable (it's the only one we used). We used the living room TV at night and it had streaming services installed. We spent most of our time on the outdoor couch on the deck or in the hot tub. It was relaxing and we look forward to returning.

Amazing Getaway

It was an absolute gem of a weekend, the scenery is spectacular, the sunset was gorgeous, we watched it from the comfortable porch sofa and then jumped in the hot tub to watch the stars come out.

What a wonderful getaway

Beautiful peaceful property full of charm. Had a great stay and enjoyed the amazing views and quiet nights. Also loved the little comforts like the fireplace and art in the yard: my favorite was climbing the stairs and stargazing at night. Perfect getaway.

Great little spot, completely private on 60 acres, hot tub was a little hard to use and wooden heat up, but everything else was perfect, one of the most comfortable beds. I’ve slept in, the night sky was absolutely breathtaking to watch, and the amenities were perfect.

Great Stay!

Beautiful property. Great house. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice, clean and as represented. New appliances. TV and internet worked great. Lots of cute items in the house that you can tell go back a ways. Great sunset. Would be nice to walk the entire property but the vegetation gets a little deep so we took some long walks up the main road. Already looking for dates we can go back this fall!
