« I finally made it to my room a bit late. I had some quick issues with the temp and television settings. I sent a text to Jim (the owner), and he helped me get comfortable for the night. I loved the personal touch you do not see as good as in large hotel chains. Personalized touch with better shampoo, had wet wipes to use, little things like Listerine to use. I met Jim in the morning and thanked him for all the great hospitality. Very nice and genuine man. »

« We have stayed in hotels/B&Bs all over the Hill Country. We stayed in the good, the bad and the ugly. This one is in a gray area between the good and the bad. This is an older propery. While we did catch a lot of clouds for the event the rest of the stay was quite enjoyable. We had no issues staying cool with the great airflow of the property, keeping the mosquitos out of the barn, or making simple meals. The vintage 1956 airstream is super cool, even thought its been updated its a glimpse back in time, to a time when things were built with quality and built to last.
