Onyx Hill is located in a peaceful area of the resort, away from the hustle and bustle and close to Upper Shamokin Falls, hiking trails and just a short drive to the slopes and all the amenities of Wintergreen resort. Some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the home). Also nearby are two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries- all within a 30 minute drive.

Main level (0 steps required to enter main level from driveway):

Step inside Onyx Hill to discover a spacious open-concept living area bathed in natural light, adorned with contemporary furnishings, and accented with tasteful décor. The open living space on the 1st floor has a family room with plenty of seating to enjoy movies, play board games or just hang out.

The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the essentials you need to whip up delicious homemade meals during your stay. Whether you're brewing a fresh pot of coffee to start your day or preparing a gourmet feast, this kitchen is sure to inspire your inner chef. The dining room is just next to the main entry and comes with soaring vaulted ceilings and a table large enough for the whole house to eat a cozy meal together.

The primary bedroom suite (BR1) is also on the main level, with king bed and hybrid mattress, comfortable bedding, soft linens, and plenty of storage space to make you feel right at home. The ensuite bathroom features double vanity, soaker tub, and tile shower.

Outside, a private deck offers the ideal spot to soak up the serene mountain views and crisp alpine air. Sip your morning coffee as you listen to the sounds of nature, or simply relax with a good book and a glass of wine from one of the hundreds of local family-owned vineyards and let the worries of everyday life melt away.

Rounding out the main level are a half bath and laundry room.

Upper level:

Up the stairs, you'll find 3 additional bedrooms and 2 additional full bathrooms:

- BR2: Two queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom featuring double vanity and shower/tub combo
- BR3: Queen bedroom
- BR4: Bunk bedroom with two sets of twin-over-queen beds
- Hall full bath with double vanity and tile shower

Other things to note:

↪Onyx Hill is pet friendly! We allow up to 1 dog with a $100 pet fee (total, not per night).

↪Parking: Gravel driveway can accommodate 6 vehicles.

↪Gas Grill (propane provided)

↪Entry: There is a ramp to the main entrance to the home, please hold the railings when walking to the entry as in inclement weather (snow, ice or rain) it can become slippery even with non-slip strips. There is also a side entry that leads into the mudroom, this entry has a few steps.

↪Bugs and wildlife: With the home being on the mountain and in a wooded area, please be aware of all the bugs and wildlife that you might encounter (insects, spiders, mice, snakes, and bears). Although we treat the home for insects, they do find their way inside the cabin despite all efforts to keep them out.

↪Zero tolerance policy for parties or events.

↪Sports and activities such as Snow and Summer Tubing, Golf, Lake Monocan beach park access for swimming, fishing, paddle boats, kayaks, and other water activities available with a fee - more details in our guidebook received upon booking

↪Guests can enjoy free community pool access in the summer season (though the HOA rules stipulate no more than 6 guests at a time, and the permitted hours are 2-6pm).

↪We provide our guests $1500 of coverage for accidental damage to the property or its contents. The cost of this is already embedded in the cleaning fee.

↪Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and deck. All four bedrooms plus the living room feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.

↪Linens and towels provided.

↪Pack n play, high chair, and kid dishes provided.

↪We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
