So much to say about this house. Upon arrival, we noticed that the house was located in a less than ideal neighborhood and it directly backs up to a motel. We initially had trouble opening the house, as the app gave us repeated error messages. While waiting for a response from the owner, the app eventually worked after trying around ten times. The owner did respond later and provided the garage code. However, once inside the garage, we discovered there was no garage door opener. The only way to open or close the garage was by walking outside and manually entering the code on the keypad. We had to do this every time we left or returned to the house. Inside the home, we noticed several maintenance issues: paint was missing in the hallways, and the baseboards were in poor condition. The kitchen window had no blinds or curtains, allowing people from the neighboring motel to see directly inside. Additionally, one of the bedroom blinds was broken, causing light to come in at night. Lastly, the pool was too cold to use, and we were informed just a few days before our stay that the pool heater was broken.

The property was clean and as described.it was comfortable and quiet. My only suggestions would be more convenient outlets to charge electronics. Also an addition of outlets with USB ports would have been helpful.

The place was amazing. The pool was amazing. The only downfall was the frame on the floor around the king size bed in the master bedroom. We all stubbed/hurt our toes! The bed itself was very comfortable.

Great for the purpose of trip

I was graduating from Lamar university. We flew into the tiny Beaumont airport, which was only a 5 minute drive from the house. The house was also only 15 minutes to the university campus. We arrived in early, and after contacting the owner by phone, we were able to get into the house a bit early, which helped a lot since we traveled with kids. There were enough beds for us and the pool was great even without a heater working, it was definitely perfect temp. When the WiFi wasn’t working another phone call and text messaging happened to fix the problem pretty quickly. There could have been more towels, after using for the pool, there just wasn’t enough to shower that were clean and dry. The floors inside the house were quite dirty. The house was supplied with toilet paper, dish soap, dishes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We had to pick up laundry soap, paper towels and anything else we needed. The fridge/freezer has an Ice/water machine on the door but doesn’t work. For what we needed the house for, it was great. Just a few days stay with the family, in a quiet neighborhood, close to everything. We had a good time.

Comfortable stay

Overall, house was clean & beds were comfortable. Bathroom was stock with basic necessities like toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap. Dining room chairs need updating though. The faux leather on the seat was coming apart or missing completely.Kitchen had paper towel, sponge, dishwashing soap & extra garbage bag.The microwave took some effort to work and the wifi was super slow. Listing advertised as fast wifi but my kids couldn't even stream movies on their ipads. We had to use our mobile hotspot. When we messaged this concern to the owner, we got no response. Also when we booked, we were told to download an app to use to access property & to select the specific property. When we downloaded the app we could not find the property & reached out to the owner multiple times. We didnt hear back until a couple hours prior to check in. I get it now that access wasn't need until closer to check in but that wasn't communicated to us. So as far a communication is concern, it could definitely be better.Pool looked nice & clean. Garage access was nice to load & unload.

Nice Place For Family

This nice property is clean, comfortable, and in a good location. Our family got together for the Lamar University Homecoming Game and a birthday celebration. The house fit our group perfectly, and we all had an enjoyable weekend. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We hope to stay here again!

Needed a weekend getaway to relax. The home is very tidy and fuully stocked with anything you may need to feel at home. Had issues with the smart lock but property manager responded very quick to help get us in the home. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Just What We Needed

Enjoyed our time at this property. It was perfectly located for our in town activities. We enjoyed the pool. The host was quick to reply to anything we needed. We would stay there again need be while visiting family. Kitchen was fully stocked- easy to cook in and love in.
