« Hotel.com act like a scam. I didn't know that the Ty Nant hotel was only for students. After contacting Hotels.com several times, it was impossible to get the deposit back. Therefore, Hotels.com has miscommunication with Ty Nant hotel and I been lie about the refund. Keep up the good work Hotels.com Anyway, it doesn't matter what's my opinions. But definitely it will have a impact on people when they're read my review on Trustpilot. »

« What a beautiful place to stay . The only room above a fully renovated pub. Both the room and the pub are beautifully done. It's a large spacious room . The classic cast iron slipper foot tub in the middle of the room was used everyday. Great way to wind down. A convenience store is across the street so is parking . Great food downstairs in the pub and the staff couldn't have been nicer. If Southerndown is on your radar . This is the spot! »

« Lack of communication with the owner . Messaged me a month before saying he had to cancel because of access to the stairs then ten mins later said the booking was ok . The day before I was due to travel I had a message saying the property would not be ready until a day later than I had booked and paid for it ! Although he did say he would give me a day payment back to which I have not yet received ! The day of travel I asked for the PIN number to enter the property and was told I would receive...

"Probably this hôtel has seen better days but it is actually well maintained, besides some scratches in the carpets and broken screws. The façade is currently being renovated. It is very well located in Swansea and easy to find It was quite empty so rather calm when we were here. The plus is definetly the extra super friendly and helpful staff. At the front desk and for the breakfast we had a wonderful experience, the people where super friendly and helpful. We had a very nice price so it's a good value deal. Would recommend."
